Chroma Gel

Chroma Gel was the brain child of a family team that decided to think out of the box when it came to gel polish. Katerina Mylona our head nail tech at Beauty Hair Products has over 20 years of experience in the nail industry and came up with the innovative idea of being able to change ordinary nail polish into gel polish. Her vision and passion for the industry made her the ideal person to spearhead such a bold and insightful project.

After some careful planning the hard work began, testing and sourcing the right stuff to make it all work was our main priority. After years of failing and trying and failing eventually the formula was discovered. It wasn't all easy going, the first application techniques were not as intended and sometimes the results were not as desired.

After 2 years of research and development the formula was finally good enough to go into production ... but we didn't stop there, we improved the formula after a year and improved the application technique so much that clients started to see normal nail polish last for more than 6 weeks in some cases.

Chroma Gel Advanced was born.....a product that turns nail polish into gel polish was a technicians dream come true - now all those nail polishes that weren't being used had a purpose again.

After a few years it was time to address a new problem in the nail tech industry, clients wanted a fast treatment with all the benefits of gel polish. Gel polish treatments are not fast, it's a three stage process that would take the most experienced professional nail technician at least 40 minutes.

So again we got thinking on how to make a fast gel polish application. Weeks turned into months and eventually a formula was created that could be applied like polish but last like gel. It didn't need a Base or Top Coat and didn't need to be wiped because there was no sticky inhibition layer. It was perfect and it needed a name..... 1 Step was what we called it because it was just as easy as nail polish but was gel polish in all its glory.

Chroma Gel 1 Step took the industry by storm and has helped hundreds of salons world wide to offer Gel Polish as a service.
