Love that they are coming out with an Android app! Still having growing pains, i have a Moto x pure and currently the app quits as soon as I try to play something. Love that I can switch between screens and don't have to have this on top. Would love to see a sleep timer feature, furthest played, and bookmark feature.

Very disappointed. Have downloaded same book 5 times only for it to have disappeared a few minutes later. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no change. How can the Android version be so poor when the Apple version is good? Please fix!

This app has great potential and I was excited when it came out. But unfortunately it's very buggy. Downloaded books frequently disappear from the device. Sometimes they remain on the device tab but have to be downloaded again. Very frustrating. Hopefully it will be improved soon.

The issues that I previously faced have been addressed, and the app is definitely working better now. Lock screen controls for the app would be a big step forward toward a more flushed out product.

I'm impressed that when I recently left a bad review documenting various flaws, the developer had a fix within a number of days. I deleted my bad review and am now happy to say that this app works great on my Samsung Galaxy S6 running Android 7.0.

Thanks for creating this app! It works well enough to use it, so I'm happy. But Sadly it isn't as good as the ios version for the following reasons: 1. The 'on device' shows un-downloaded books at times, but doesn't show downloaded ones. 2. There are no bookmarks 3. You can't download parts of a book at will, it's all or nothing 4 . I often just stops mid way and I need to press stop and play again to get it working.

The app again doesn't work properly, even after I uninstalled it and installed it again. As soon as I put it on 1.25x speed, the book starts playing and you just can't stop it except by stopping the app.

Well its the first step! Bless you guys in your work. Hope you'll can keep improving the app as currently its just the bare minimum. But it's still amazing to finally have my library on my phone! All the best!

It's a bare app and needs several features added. Notably, the ability to purchase books from the app & the ability to stream audiobooks, among other things. This is a good start though.

Thanks for fixing the Android 7 issue. Still bare bones player but is now usable. Keep up the good work guys!

I was so excited to see this app released and it is a good beginning. Missing some key features like, the player keeps playing when I receive a call. It does not always allow the bluetooth in my vehicle to control the player. And the Christian Audio player keeps playing if I start another player. I have to close the app to keep it from playing over top of the other app. But the basic features work and I can listen to my books on my phone.

I love this app... On my iPad. I installed onto my new Lg G6 last night. It worked great to download and listen this morning. But now the book that I started listening to this morning won't work. I tried turning off my phone, but nothing works.

Now works great on Samsung Android 7! So excited to finally have an Android app for Christian Audio.

I'm giving 5 stars in good faith that Christian audio will continue to develop and improve this app. Squash some bugs. Add some features. I Will keep my rating if more features are added. Happy to finally have an android app!

Very excited that Christian Audio has come out with an Android app, but it has a major bug, at least on my Moto x, that it cuts off the last 5-10 seconds of every chapter.

I love the idea, but as it stands now it is super buggy. The app quits as soon as I start listening to a book.

Could not wait for Christian audio to get an Android app!! I absolutely love it!!! I see some not so great reviews but it looks like the problems get resolved. I would say in the beginning there are always some hiccups to work out but I tell you, I am so very pleased.

My first ebook app, so i don't have anything to compare it too, but i wish there was a way to store books on the mini-sd card rather than use the phone's storage.

Could not log in. Using the same e-mail and password on the pc worked fine. I tried several times, typing and using copy and paste from my password manager. Update: It worked, I can log in now. No books can be downloaded successfully though. I'm excited that you're working on this and look forward to when the app is usuable. Keep up the good work.

Had an initial issue but customer service resolved it within an hour. The app is about as basic as it gets. If you use Audible, this is like going back 50 years. You essential can play books but that's it. Downloading then is even a challenge, as you have to do it by chapter and it takes way too long. No bookmarking function, no player in the notification panel, no way to go directly to the store to buy more books. I'm glad this app exists, but please, it could be far better with a little work.

I was so excited to see this app. I have quite a library built up with Christian Audio. But, as is, the app is unusable. Paul Washer's book skips immediately to chapter 16. It also won't let me pause, rewind, etc.

I would give this higher stars if I couldn't in. If they fix this and it works I will give it high marks. Update: I can now log in and access my books. However, the pause button does not work. There is no way to stop the book from conti using to read. If they fix this I will give it higher stars.

The app is horrible. It doesn't pause properly and when I do get it to pause and try to start it again, it starts over or at chapter 11 (in one book). Please get the basic functions working.

Unfortunately I didn't check the reviews before my purchase because it looks that everyone has the same problem as me. The app keeps on jumping to the last chapter. It doesn't let me begin from chapter one. I did contact customer service as the person replying to all bad reviews suggests, but 2 weeks later haven't get an answer. At this point I just want my money back. This app doesn't work properly. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

When I open the app after downloading a book it automatically starts playing, and if I try to pause the playback it skips through all the chapters to the last one and plays that chapter only. It cannot be stopped unless I close the app.

I WANT to love this! I was so excited to see the Android app available, however I'm experiencing the same erratic playback glitches others are having. I'm anticipating an updated version and hoping to listen to my books with ease soon.

I downloaded a book every time I clicked on a particular chapter it would immediately direct itself to the last chapter. I tried downloading 1 chapter at a time and it still wouldn't let me listen to that 1 chapter. It would go to the next chapter and tell me I needed to download it to listen. I even uninstalled app and reinstalled still didn't work.

Looks great, so many glitches though. Pls work on it and make quick updates. The player itself won't pause, won't go back or forward. There for its useless. But the speed adjustment works.!!!

Interface is clunky. Books dont properly download leading to skipping through many chapters at a time. Books auto play out of nowhere... All round incredibly poor app. Sincerely dissapointed and looking forward to seeing this fixed up.

This app is unusable, so looking forward to using this app but really disappointing - like others have found goes to last chapter and can only close by shutting down the app. Surely this should have been tested before putting on Google store???

Excited this is out and being worked on. I can see my books and know that one day, they will play more than the last chapter. Looking forward to it and glad that speed selection is a choice.

I'm able to login now, thankfully! Looking forward to seeing how this app evolves. I didn't buy many audiobooks before because of the lack of Android support, and I'm glad it's here now, even though it might be basic. Hope to see Android Auto support.
