Guitar Chord Recognition

Guitar Chord Recognition will automatically detect and label chords played into your devices microphone. Whether on an electric, acoustic or classical guitar it will recognise the chord and present it's chord diagram on the device.

As a tool for both beginner and professional musicians, this app provides a tool to suppor the ear. If their are blank spots in your understanding of theory or ability to label chords by ear this app will help bridge the gap.

The built-in dictionary supports single notes, diads, triads and tetrads(7th) chords with special attention paid to the chords most common to guitarists; open position shapes and power chords.

For best results, make sure your guitar is fully tuned to standard tuning so as to maintain accurate intervals between the note pitches when playing the chord.
