From what I can tell, this is the only app in its genre that will let you choose different patterns for each individual track, giving the user far more control over the finished product. The biggest disappointment is that there are so few options with swung eights. They're not just for jazz!

The app I've been looking for. Never before have I been more freely and easily able to express my musical ideas, and for that, I give 5 starts. There is still some crashing and bugs(as with all software), but easily fixable for the most part. I would love to see a way to disable the automatic changing of chord inversions when changing the inversions of close-by-notes.

by B####:

Great! Simple to use, even for someone with no musical ability. Great arranger. Punch up a few notes, then pick a few music styles, and the app does all the hard work for you. Solid export functions, to wav and midi. Will user created mixer styles be implemented? A chord edit function would be nice, for a few rare dissonant chord types are absent.

K70%
by K####:

The app works as intended, but please please change the aesthetic to what it was before. It's so boring looking. The user interface is worse too. Also the ability to go into portrait mode would be nice.

It's the best app in it's class, I rarely buy apps but yours is worth it. But please make a landscape mode for UI, it makes things so much easier

Been using this for writing for a few years now and it has been invaluable, but since recent update I can no longer add chords, where is the command bar? Can I get the old version back? What the hell, also why does your website only reference the old version!

K70%
by K####:

I like this app but I wish I could export a list of the sequential chords (with number of instances), either as PDF or plain text so I could facilitate playing the song on a guitar. Failing that being able to see all the chords at once so I could screenshot them would be good

This app is the turning point of my life....I love the soulful chord progressions possible with this app...so much of creativity possible with this app...my improvisations sound much better now....This app is worth more than its cost...The sound quality of the chords are very pleasing....so pleasing that u can just play the chord progressions on loop and keep listening to it for hours while doing some other work

MY FAVORITE MUSIC APP! Had the free version for 5 min before buying this full version. 5 years on, still good, regardless of level of music theory; esp good for generating ideas.

Excellent tool for composing and sketching out song ideas very quickly and easily. A killer feature is the ability to export the individual instruments to midi files for use in a sequencer. This includes the chord pads and arpeggios and the excellent drum patterns. High quality synth, bass and drum sounds.

This is the smartest (and for several features: only) app in its class. The chord progression builder is great, but you can also arrange your progressions into the skeleton of a entire multi-track song—and that includes structure, style, and per-track instrumentation and patterns! Read the docs and you will be surprised how quickly you can go from a vague idea to exporting DAW-ready MIDI files.

Not the most intuitive interface. Also, the manual seems to refer to a previous version. Ok for generating simple loops. Worth a few £.

This is a great app to help with compositions 5 stars! But would it be possible to get more scales? I'm most interested in harmonic/melodic minor but the more the better =)

This is a good app for songwriters. Please make an update with more percussions. Also create an optional log in feature that will enable users sync creations with their email so they can easily access their creations on any device available. This will secure their creations even if they lose their phones. I hope this suggestion is considered. Thank you. Great job so far!

Amazing App! After the download, I was hooked to it for more than an hour. (While practicing bansuri - Bamboo Flute). This is exactly what I wanted. So many options to explore. It is definitely gonna help me a lot in honing my flute and guitar playing skills.

So simple to use. Lay out your chord progression whilst improvision in your head. You can use this to relax and create your masterpiece. Just what I've been waiting for. Many thanks devs, and well worth the price.

Well done! Really helps with building chord progressions and modifying them with different flavors for a better sound. Develops creativity.

Great composition app. Its easy to learn. Use it for backing tracks or studying in song chord structures. I'd like it to show the song title on screen though.

Phenomenal app, but I wonder what's the purpose of the color codes when you're selecting a chord...

This is a brilliant app, made even better by its recent lick of paint and improvements - can now knock out a whole song in 15 mins. Still not the best UX in the world (e.g. a small toast notification at the start of a copy/paste process would be useful) but easy enough and the excellent documentation fills in the blanks. And while I don't use it daily, have never regretted the purchase.

F70%
by F####:

My only complaint would be the lack of changing different instruments for a single track. It would be 5 stars if I could place different instruments on particular time keys, unfortunately mixer is only one channel. Otherwise it is good for song sketching and also kinda ideal for loop based music, it can be used for simple productions too. Well deserves its price, recommended..

I70%
by I####:

I like the new functionality for scale and chord selection a lot, but not the interface changes. The light design is too radically different and makes it look like a boring spreadsheet. I also preferred the dark, horizontal layout with four chords per row. Also, I would indicate selections on the chord screen with a highlighted border rather than a blue fill. That way, the colour coding of different choices is still visible even if they are selected. Apart from that, the manual needs to be updated as well.

This used to export midi very well, but now it has problems with exporting midi files and the midi file give you is not usfule in pro apps, because it will be a mess inside then. I do not know what happend to this app!!!
