Andro Search (Files Contacts)

AndroSearch is handy to use as a launcher as well as a search program. I have discovered lots of useful files on my phone that I didn't know were there. Love the 'Recent Modified Files' category. The context menu to use with each result record is very nice.

I have purchased it two times and INR 120 has been deducted from my account but transaction were not completed. So I can not use the pro version. Give my money back you cheater....

From what I've seen so far I am very impressed. It does what it says on the tin. Would like to see a little free trial of the pro version... a little teaser of the full potential. Despite this I'm likely to upgrade to pro

Description states you can search PDF content. Not true and I'm out the money for the pro version.

I've been using this app for three months now and it's a solid performer. It's been very reliable and it performs a great number of searches.

Like it. One suggestion. Give an option for dark mode.

Brilliant app. I can find virtually anything in seconds. Even searches the text inside PDF files.

There are no filters to filter the results!

Whilst this is quite clever in searching within documents, it can't do the basics: searching your agenda or SMS, whereas other apps have it. As a PRO user I'd like to see this added . The FAQ suggests you haven't had time...

Good app, I've just one suggestion, when searching for a party of a file's name (for example: I'm looking for the file 20170401_182743, if your type only 170401 will not give any result..) Thank you in advance !

Good app in general.two graphic suggestions though: night theme is a must and file icons should follow system theme or maybe support custom icon packs

Sir, Please improve the options... Like... It is not searching partial word / letters in the sentence or word....

Very well thought out. Apparently doesn't search mail and text messages. Not worth removing a star for that.

Won't help to search among similar documents; e.g. I can have several documents that all contain "pizza" and "order", and I want those that have "pizza order" and not "order pizza". This app returns a ton of both, and there's nothing to be done about it. Seriously, how come a file search app doesn't offer a few more search options - exact match of a phrase, wildcards, search within a certain file type?

The App is good in locating photos in Albums, etc except that it cant find Saved Reminders in Phone Calendar. Its my bad experience with this app. Hope that the developer could update the app to cover all in features in the Android just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Search Files Feature where you can search anything inside your phone just by typing the words or file name.

You can't imagine how such an app makes your life easy. That one song you are searching.. listen instantly.. want some pdfs which you have saved as untitled or you don't remember the title.. charm.. just enter keywords and job done.. Your contacts.. your videos.. images.. apps.. A magic.. loved it so much that its the 2nd app on playstore that I bothered to rate and comment

If you utilize your smart phone much the same as your computer, and if you are a tech-savvy end-user whose tools at work revolve around PCs, then you know just how useful an idexed search is. As a former Palm Pilot owner, there was a perfect app I downloaded and installed for indexed searches. I was unable to locate such a product for my Android Galaxy smart phone - until now. Andro Search is an indexed search engine that has exceeded my expectations and blown away the meager competition. I am impressed!

Operative term 'grep' search. It does everything other than a simple search on a selected group of files for matching text. Indexing everything on my device is unnecessary. Wasteful (space); both Apps and files that may not be there an hour from the time they were 'indexed'. And thus annoying...looking for a grep tool.

Cons: why you need to give my personal Info to Google, my Brother, from Tel Aviv?? One has concerns about privacy! and as soon as one finds an app without this intrusion, one will uninstall this app & write a bad review about this app in the other app. So please don't intrude one's privacy!!pros: for a week or two Very Very nice at Indexing!, Searching!, Internal files of music or doc or docx!

The purpose of indexing is to be able to find your documents, right? Yet this app indexes EVERYTHING, settings, service information, temporary files. Amazingly there's no option to point it to your documents. Such a waste of resources and your time!
