Nearby Chat application by CHI Software has been created using Google Nearby Connections API technology. It gives users an opportunity to message in the peer-to-peer (P2P) network. In other words, it makes possible to chat with people who are located nearby and are connected to one local network (LAN).
Do you have something urgent or funny in mind and want to share it fast with a friend or colleague? There is no need to leave your comfortable seat for that now. If you are connected to the same network just open our Application, create a chat and send your messages freely.
In addition, other users of same network can see what you are sharing and join your chat. Each member of the chat can see other members, take active part or leave it any time.
Application has a simple, intuitive interface, so it is an easy-to-use one. All you should care about is what you are messaging or what chat you are joining today.

I don't understand this app whatsoever. I think it's broken. You hit a button to chat, it asks you to name it, and then it always puts me a blank chat screen with no one else in the room beside myself.
