About TDT Copper
TDT Copper Ltd is the largest stand-alone CCCR Plant in India with annual capacity of 79,200 MT. The plant is located at Bawal, Dist. Rewari, Haryana (NH-8, Delhi Jaipur Highway) in the NCR region.
TDT Copper was set-up as an 100% Foreign Direct Investment by two multinationals - Taihan Electric Wire Co. Ltd., South Korea (having large international presence in copper, wires and cables of over 6 decades) and Tomen Corporation, Japan (world's 40th largest corporation by sales) in 1997, based on Southwire Continuous Cast Rod System. TDT has ongoing technical support to produce user defined CCCR by “SCR 2000” technology, which is acknowledged as the best technology in the world to manufacture Continuous Cast Copper Rods.
The TDT plant has now been taken over and is now owned by Shri Lakshman Das Ladha and his family. Over the past years the new stakeholders have built on the legacy of precision, systems, technical expertise, safety and most important, concern for the environment.
The professional approach inherited has been carried forward by the induction of industry stalwarts on the board, who have selected industry experts with requisite experience for the day-to-day management of various functions including Production, Commercial, Marketing and of-course Quality and Technical services.
We, at TDT would like to make a difference to the commoditized Indian copper market by making available customer friendly technically fine tuned for end use and environmental-friendly Copper rods.
TDT owners, managers and all stakeholders believe that as responsible citizens we have to contribute to save our country's agricultural environment by preventing sulphur and other gases emission. We also contribute to saving of precious land resources by avoidance of solid waste. We are also committed to our environmental drive by reducing the fuel spent on shipping copper raw materials in our country by at-least 75%.
