Selfie-O-Matic

Selfie-O-Matic has a new concept of selfie.

Selfies are by definition taken by the person that is being portrayed. That person will always try to look the best in the picture, finding the best pose and the expression that he or she exactly wants to express.
This way the resulting picture will always be satisfactory at least, but will have something fake in them. The face that is being shown is not the true face. Spontaneity is compromised for a standard.

When a picture is taken when you don't know it, however, you can't pose at all: Your face will tell how you were feeling in that moment: whether you are happy, sad or plain bored, the fact is that you will not be able to lie. The true essence of the moment will be captured.

This is exactly the goal of Selfie-O-Matic. Once installed, the app stays silently active while you are using your phone, no matter what you are doing, and picks random moments of your day to take pictures of you.
At the same time that the camera is snapping - without making any noise - the screenshot of the phone is also captured, together with a short sound recording, to make each selfie more meaningful.

It's a completely different way of taking selfies, where you can't really decide the expression that you will have in them. Your pictures will create a sort of diary of your days, telling your story through the various moments of your life, captured in the most spontaneous way.

The pictures are taken by Selfie-O-Matic automatically, but the app is smart enough to keep only the best ones: a selfie will be automatically deleted if a face is not recognized, or if it's too dark or blurry.

You can decide whether to keep the shots for yourself or whether to share them with your friends, perhaps adding a beautifying filter and a customized message! Facebook and Twitter sharing is made super-easy, with just 1 tap.

The app has also a security purpose: by enabling the "Warden Mode" Selfie-O-Matic will take a picture every time your device is unlocked. This way you can find out if someone else uses your phone, and have a picture to prove it as well!
