I bought this for my wife who likes to listen to music in the shower. I also needed a light for the shower and this worked perfectly. It is protected from water where it is. It's loud enough and bright enough on white. Other colors are darker. The other features are neat, like the shake and random light to the beat. The app has random Chinese letters and when you hit the back button it says "tap again to EXIST" not "exit" lol

Works good, I would gladly pay more for a better speaker,but it will do. Candlelight mode is too repetitive. Needs better control function for Amazon music instead of having to turn it off in settings. A good buy for $25.00

Wasted my time and money. The app just immediately crashes and force closes as soon as I open it. So I bought a useless light I can't control. stay away from this item! can't believe Sam's club would sell this. did they even test it first?

Stopped working with Android nouget 7.0 upgrade. App crashes when it opens, won't even start up. Light and app now useless. Where is the support and the app upgrade?......Found an app that works. [ ilight ] looks the same as chroma melody but it functions fine with Android nought 7.0

Lite contl ok. Rest sucks. Constantly resets. Wont play music. Sleep assist.. etc. All freaks out. And why this app needs to know my location and phone call activity boggles me.

I've only found one way to get the follow the beat to work and that's by playing the demo song and then pausing that, then start Pandora again. I haven't tested yet on any downloaded songs yet.

App is poorly supported. Most features don't work or crash the app immediately. 50/50 connection via bluetooth. Sad because the light is nice and the speaker sounds okay if/when it works. If the app developer worked 1/3 as hard as the product manufacturer it would be a nice product.

Using Nexus 6p up to date. App won't even launch. Without app the light won't even work as a a normal light. Waste of money if you ask me. 30 dollars down the drain.

App is no good. Try to open it and it instantly forces closed. I have tried everything by downloading my other phone. I have an LG Stylo 2 and a ZTE Prestige and it does the same thing on both phones.

It was working good until I had Android 6. Once I upgraded the OS to Android 7, the app get crashed immediately after opening. I gave the feedback several times but no response. I like the features of the bulb but not the app.

Bulb works great as plain light and speaker but Everytime I start the app it disconnects Bluetooth, tires to reconnect the Bluetooth then fails. it can be very tricky to get the app working when the Bluetooth is connected. If this gets fixed it will be great!

I don't know why anyone would rate this bad. I have the Chroma Melody Lightbulb Speaker and after I connected the app to my Bluetooth, I was addicted to the speaker and the app. I love it. Thank you for inventing this.

Waste of money. The app crashes everyone you tried to open. Don't waste your money

I have a Moto X Android phone. Product, and app are working as they claim it would. So far no problems. Sound quality is decent. Only complaint is the colors are a bit dim, but the white light can be brightened to a usable setting.

You need to change the color dail so they displayed the right colors the whe i attempt to get a deep color it is more white than I want.

I've no lighting controls even though Bluetooth features & audio are working. The bulb smells like a burnt coil/motor. If the app would stop crashing, I could test it further... already tried rebooting my Sony Z5.

So far so good. Opened, twisted, downloaded, played, and it is what i thought it was. Now how can i link multiple lights? Hhhmmmm i wonder ¿?

App force closes. This product is definitely being returned to the store.

Once I hooked it up it started working perfectly. Would like to see the ability on the alarm to gradually increase light instead of just turning onto full brightness.

Doesn't work with Nougat, I emailed the developer a while back and never receive a response or acknowledgement. Waste of money.

worked ok for a while. until my phone updated itself to android 7.0. now it just force crashes. please fix

The app crashed immediately after open. I'm using the Nexus 6P.

I love using this, but not sure why its not working at all right now, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, tried restarting my phone and nothing works to get the app to start up.

I'm using the nexus 5x and the app just crashes without launching. Complete fail

Jus got it 11/10/16 and the app has NEVER work but I can hook up to the light jus for the music

This used to work and ever since an update it crashes immediately. I'm so pissed.

I know all the lite and sound systems are up in the $200 range so we decided to try the lower end $20 version. The lite colors are nowhere near what it displays in the app and the sound quality is that of an AM Radio.

Everything works fine, simple setup and I can walk upstairs or even outside and it still plays fine, better than other Bluetooth speakers in the range department.

Just tried to open the app for the first time after getting this bulb and it will not work. Keeps crashing right after I start the app. I have a Nexus 6p phone with Android 7.1 update. Hope this gets fixed at some point. Otherwise, this is worthless.

Anyone else have trouble with it not wanting to connect?

Junk. App will not open on Moto z force running nougat. Instant crash. Waste of money for me.

App crashes immediately! I am disappointed by the app.

The app need to be compatible with android nougat (7.0 or higher) PLEASE, I cant use the bulb because of the incompatibility

So far the app won't even open, I'm currently using an up to date pixel XL, and nothing, I may be exchanging for Phillips hue

I updated to Android 7.0 and the app crashes every time I try to open it.

Bluetooth was kinda lacking but the application and the light still worked. Bulb couldn't really change to some certain colors.

Lasted a week then software update and now doesn't work.

Constant crashes on new Moto Z. Please fix your cheap app.

The package says light works with Android 2.3 and later. But on my son's phone has Android 7, the app won't open. Update your app!
