Learn Chinese Mandarin Words

This is not a good place to start. Same developer's Learn Chinese app is great and has actual lessons and flashcards. Also, this app's description says "What’s more, "Learn Mandarin Chinese words - flashcards" is completely FREE with no any Ads or micro-transactions." which is untrue. There's an unlock purchase to jump to advanced materials (not sure if you can work your way through all content without paying). There are also some links to nonexistent apps (Discover). Regardless, it's got more flashcards!

I think someone needs to go over the flashcards for the HSK levels. One example is that the app says chū zū chē but shows 計程車 ji cheng che and then shows a sentence that uses 出租車 highlighted in red. If I didn't study this word already, I wouldn't know which one is correct (出租車 is correct). Decide which one to use!!! Both are understood by Chinese people but one is more commonly used in mainland China!! They also use 壹 instead of the more simple one stroke 一. Please fix these issues!!!

There are still quite a few errors like wrong characters or tones. And why does the section finish once no word is left on the 0 time stack?! It should finish once all words are on the green stack or you will never be able to repeat the words that are the hardest!

I am currently taking Chinese classes and this app is very helpful for studying! It can work offline too which is nice because I don't always have internet.

Brilliant way to learn chinese, hopefully next time there will be HSK words in vocabulary segment ( not only in flashcard game) to make it easier to review the words

Great app to start with, it's good they have spellings using western letters. I think I'll upgrade as what I have seen for free impresses me

There are some wrong translation in flash card there are some voice that not matching the chinese character. Please correct it

输= lose? . I CHECK MY DICTIONARY AND IT SHOW : CARRY OR TRANSPORT. HOW EVEN ?I LEARN NEW WORD BUT ITS ALREADY WRONG

Really good app for learning. The free version of this developper is a good start.

If I bought the hsk words through Chinese skill why when I open word are they all locked. I shouldn't have to buy them again.

Unlike their promise of a free app, nothing worked without a demand for payment!

In flashcard mode the sounds end too early for some reason..you can not hear the entire word

Says its free but only 1 set of cards is free not all of them

No option to hide english translation

Awesome. But need more options to remember the flashcards, like 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, one week, half day

The new flashcard system is much worse. The old on allowed 6 levels of how well remembered each word was. I'll need to find a different app now.

No nag ads. Very nice voice. Sample sentences are very helpful to put word and grammar to use. I use it with hanping live ocr tool to read hard sample sentences. I wish i can random shuffle card order
