Chick-fil-A for Android
I love this app. Being able to order ahead and bypass the the is fantastic. An update has combined the cow calendar coupons right onto it, so everything is in the same place, and can be combined into order ahead. my only issue is that it always tells me breakfast has ended for today, even at 7 am on a Wednesday. But that might be an issue with my particular phone and the app. It sounds like others' work fine.
The local employees didn't seem to know much about how the app works. I asked about the cowlandar card and the app and was told, the THOUGHT i could redeem the card and pick up my treat when i came. I suggest in depth training for managers so they can train the employees. My food was hot, delicious, and ready when i came in. I expexted a wait of 5 minutes, but i had barely ahut the door behind me when they called my name.
I tried the mobile ordering this morning and it worked like a charm! I placed my order while en route on the train and as soon as I was in the vicinity, a reminder popped up to tap "I'm here and pay". Once I did that, I was instructed to proceed to the mobile ordering area. I waited all of 1 minute before my name was called! There was nothing missing from my order and my food was hot and fresh! I will definitely use the mobile ordering app again as I tend to frequent this restaurant a lot...
It's one of the best fast food apps that I've tried. I love that it keeps a single balance as opposed to having to keep separate balances for every gift card entered, like how other apps work. It was a bit confusing to edit an order and when I picked up my order, there was a spinning wheel saying "preparing order" that made me think that it was still sending the order to the store. Turns out it just meant they were making it.
Many actions like choosing your location or adding items to your cart occur with insufficient feedback so you wind up hitting a button multiple times. Then you have to figure out that the little bag (with no counter) is your cart. Then you have to figure out that you have to long-press on the 6 meals you added to delete the extras. Then you have to wade through payment options to choose your stored credit card EVERY time. I like the convenience of this app but the developers need to hold some UX surveys!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give us an option to not get GPS notifications. I hate getting asked to turn it on every time I start the app. I don't need or want to use GPS and there are plenty of reasons to not have it on. I will change my rating to 5 stars once this issue is fixed because the app is great otherwise.
The line for the druve thru, for the location at 182nd and Hawthorne was out into the street. I parked and used this app and walked in with you order waiting for me. This was awesome as people were still in the drive thru line waiting to get onto the property as I was leaving. Will definitely use this app when they are crazy busy.
App is very laggy and slow in general. Frequent loading screens make me think that the website is faster. Please improve performance. It feels slow like a web app rather than a native app
All is great with the app except we dont get a paper reciept. I do the surveys on the paper receipts and get free chicken sandwiches, but if you order through the app, they wont give me a paper receipt. I love the app, but will bot be using it again until Im able to get a paper reciept.
The app works great overall. I haven't seen how to add something I always order to my favorites but I'm sure I overlooked it. The only negative aspects I have are: I was not given an option to modify what was on my sandwich when I selected a meal to order, and there is no opportunity for military discount in the app, only in store (but I understand that)
The app is not time saving. It has improved since last time I used it after installation when it was new. But it still takes 45 min to an hour to put in order for family of 6. And $50 max? We do that much almost EVERY meal.
Dislike that I have to get to the store and then they start making my food. Defeats the purpose of ordering ahead to save time. Unless there is a line, its pointless.
The user experience is clunky. Adding and removing items to an order takes a long time. It is faster to wait in the store's ridiculously long lines then to place an order using the app. The only redeeming feature is the level of customizability.
Buggy. I placed my curbside order. When I arrived, I touched the "I'm Here" button. The app says "there is a problem. Come inside". The very gracious and excellent person I spoke with fixed it, but the whole come inside and fix it kinda defeated the purpose for mobile ordering. Maybe next time.
At this point in not sure if it's a glitch or of in using the rating system wrong. My last 4 treats I have constantly rated one or two states as it's something I do not like. However, they keep offering me those treats. Is the rating system backwards were one star is good and five stars bad? I'm really sick of only being offered chicken nuggets, fruit cup, chicken biscuit, or chicken minis. I would much rather be offered a sandwich, a salad, a cool wrap, or even a desert or drink. If I'm doing something wrong please let me know
Great app. Love everything about it except you have to go in to pick up your food... Doesn't give you an option to get it through drive thru... Like when it's heavily raining outside.
The app is highly convenient especially when there are long lines at the store. However the app itself is not as intuitive as it could be but does make ordering repeated items easy. I've only used it a couple times but find ordering through the app before I get to the store very very convenient.
Was real helpful able to order everything for my family and go pick it up later better than drive thru. the only thing I had that went wrong with they didn't give me the right sauce for one of the meals on my order otherwise great experience
Used app at store yesterday. Didn't receive any credit for doing so. Even asked cashier to help me, because I wanted to make sure there was no user error.
This app almost never connects, hangs on the blurry splash screen, and drains my battery. I am thinking if you can't fix this app soon, I will have to uninstall it and give up on Chick-fil-A.
This app consistently does not work for me. I input my order and when I arrive the app tells me I haven't arrived. I'm clearly standing in the parking lot and the app tells me I'm not. It will not place my order. This has happened no less than 5 times.
It's an awesome app when it works. I constantly have to uninstall and reinstall so I can actually get my account to come up. Fix that and I'll give 5 stars
I love this app when it works. I keep having to uninstall and reinstall every other day. The app keeps freezing up and won't load, also every time I get ready to pay it keeps saying that it can't assist me.
How to delete an item from the basket? I added 3 sandwiches then wanted to remove one of them and keep the others. I only could change the item but could not delete it. Remember to see end users interaction with the app.
App works very well to manage and transfer your gift card balances and bank card charges. Just reload the gift card when balance is depleted and transfer to the CFA App. Also, the ordering system and treats feature is great.
This app is great for skipping the line at the restaurant. There are a few glitches, like you can order stuff that's not on the menu at the restaurant and it doesn't tell you that the order is ready, other than that, it's great.
Love the Chick Fil A app. You get Free Food after using the app so many times. Just one suggestion. Add a "Dine In" option.
Took 12 minutes to get my food and they forgot one order of fries and all the sauces. Would have been faster to go through drive thru or order at counter
This app is not really ahead ordering. Placed an order they the app at home went to the store clicked Im here, go inside and im told i still have to wait 15 mins because i ordered at lunch item at breakfast. Thats why i ordered it at home so that it would be ready by the time i got there.. its takes 20 mins for me to get to the store... this is ridiculous.. first time i have had a bad experience at Chick Fil a
This is the worst online food ordering app I've ever used. Very confusing and overwhelming . It doesn't let you do another order if you already have one which makes multiple orders very difficult . I love chick f la but this app is horrible
Easy to use, let's me skip the giant lines (Especially on weekends). Love how you tell the app when you get to the restaurant so the food is made as fresh as possible. Great job, chik fil a!
I love using the app....but today when I ordered and picked up my food, I didn't get what I order and didn't realize until I got home...so i was upset. But it is usually a good experience.
Haven't been able to successfully order through the app for 2 weeks. At the location, I see people picking up app/online orders so it seems the issue is with my app. The app works fine to pay for in store orders. This might not be an issue in less busy stores, but in NYC theres always a line!! HELP!!
Order did not show up on system. Had to wait for order to be made. Otherwise everything was ok. Staff was very helpful.
Nothing like showing up at the store and clicking "I'm Here" and the app errors out. First and last time using this crap.
1st time using the app & this thing is awesome! Really helps my process and time frame... especially if I don't have to get the kids out of the car.
Chick-fil-a has the best customer service at all locations. You can drive by the fast food chains and see very few cars. Go to a Chick-fil-a and the parking lot is full. Even when it is full you get very fast service and fresh food.
App does not have option for dine-in. Catering items cannot be ordered with regular items? Had to enter password after signing in with password. Asked me if I wanted to order when I arrived & I had already placed an order. Checkout button was a little hard to find. Still, a nice app for ordering ahead & paying.
Decent app to have if you remember to use it during checkout! The employees don't ask or remind sooo...yea.

I love being able to order while on my way to the restaurant and not have to wait in line when I get there. The app allows me to customize menu items in ways I didn't even know I could! I also love that I get credit towards treats and can see how far away I am until my next treat or redeem treats right from the app! It would be nice to be able to bill directly to a card instead of loading a value, but that's not a deal breaker for me. You can pick up your mobile orders in the drive thru as well, just let them know you're there for a mobile order. Super convenient!
