Simple World Clock Widget for Android
It's the perfect app for global time. Simple to setup and use. For Redmi note users you need to give it background running permission from the battery settings so it can automatically update the time. Best of all no ads!
As others have mentioned, the time isn't updated in real-time; you'd expect a clock widget to "just work" and I don't think there's any OS restriction that should justify having to turn off battery saver, task killer apps etc (as the developer has suggested). Hope it can be fixed to keep in sync as it's otherwise a nice implementation/UI, I think it could be done easily with periodic requests to a time server even if the OS doesn't play ball (though I think it does).
(EDITED) It'd be great if one clock widget could fit in one square space and not stretch to two. But otherwise ive really appreciated this app. EDIT: turns out you can change the font size on the widgets this app is great!!
It's great, the display options and what not look really good but... The country that I'm in decided to not do the whole daylight savings thing and now I have to choose to either have my main clock be correct or this app. If there's a fix for this please let me know!
I just wanted some widgets on my home screen showing current time in locations I have customers, and this app delivered perfectly. Simple is true with easy creation and succinct and simple settings! Thanks dev!
I am a long time user of this app. Since I work with people in various timezones, it has been incredibly useful to be able to create widgets on my home screen so that I can quickly reference what time it is where my colleagues are. When traveling, I don't have to adjust for relative time since the widget will still just display the time in each given zone/city. You can also put the widgets in your dock if you dont want to give up home screen space. I definitely recommend this app.
Simple to select 2 locations (home and destination country) and display times as widgets on screen for quick reference. Reasonable customisation, I don't need anything more complex. Good app, thanks.
This clock is clean, easy to use and overall very good HOWEVER, I wanted this clock to track the time zone in apia samoa (Gmt+13) /(+12 during daylight savings). Samoa is registered on here as SST which is not correct for half the island, which switched over to the western side of the date line in 2012. I tried using Fiji or Auckland time instead but because of daylight savings, +12 is an hour early and +14 is an hour late of the accurate time. The other zones seem fine and there's a whole range of cities
Simple easy to use. After you add the widget(s) to your home screen, you can edit them by opening the app. I have widgets for friends and family around the world set up less than 5 minutes after downloading.
It seems to be doing exactly what I need; to keep track of time in a foreign city without overloading my phone or taking up too much space on my screen. The native widget takes up over half the screen to show the same thing... Thanks
The app lives upto it's name. Its SIMPLE. Undoubtedly one of the best clock apps. One advise to the developers, if you ever wish to do any upgrades to its look, please make sure the simple theme is still there. Thanks
I used this app when my significant other left the country for a trip so I knew when to talk to her. Neat and simple UI and design that barely takes up any room on your home page. I'll definitely be coming back to this need be a world clock on my home page. Thanks.
So Helpful! Working with different clients from different time zones, this app just solved my time problem. I even named each clock the client/company's name it represents! Really great work on this app!
Simple. Does the job. highly customizable.I dont have to deal with size or font limitations set by other widgets. One time zone takes up only one square as opposed to 9 squares taken by the stock android clock.
Does what it says on the tin and does it really well. The best of its kind that I've tried - I keep this installed so I can use it whenever I travel. It would be great if you could store the widgets even if they aren't currently in use, but even without that feature it still gets 5 stars.
Simple to use, easy to set up. This serves my needs well and has a good clean appearance. The ability to customize the widgets really helped me define widgets for the time zones I needed to cover.
This app had a clean look and I really liked the widget but the time wouldn't update. I had to click on the widget and re-save the settings every time I wanted to know the time. Seems like a waste to have a clock that doesn't show the correct time.
I use this to create several side by side widgets for business projects with clients in different time zones. I can label them with a city or a person's name. Works great, and can size it to my liking.
It just works. One widget (1x1) per time zone you want to see; you can change the names as you please. No frills, but it does exactly what's needed.
Some people complain that time does not update automatically. Quick tap and it updates...BFD. Love the launch application feature. AND NO ADS- It's True
Great simple app that does what it's suppose to AND a great way to add shortcuts and text to my home screen by changing font size to 0 if you don't need more clocks and dates. Just simple and awesome.
Nice and simple. Widget could be a bit prettier if it had the option of a drop shadow on the text (like Android's own text labels on the home screen) plus rounded corners on the background rectangle.
Not for tech savy. Ita not for non tech savy people. The UI needs to change. Normal people after installing would expect to open app and add cities. But instead this app says no clock added as widget on home screen and its blank. Once user adds widgets it shows up in app. The UI flow should be opposite. Install and open app then it should have plus symbol to add city names. Once they are added have three dots more options to ask if you want to add widet to home screen
Works great and very customizable..!! For those who are on marshmallow,go to settings--battery optimization--select the simple clock widget not to optimize otherwise the widget wont gets refreshed!!
Shadow around the text can improve the visibility / readability of text with transparent widget background on light coloured wallpapers. Just like the shadow around date text in Google Search bar in new Google Now Launcher.
Seems to be working well so far and was just what I was looking for. One feature that would be make the app perfect world be to have a clock which displays current time in my location. As I'm traveling alot I'd like to add a clock to my home screen based on location or system time which keeps updated
Not a huge fan of having to refresh every time I want an update of the time. I realise that's because of my task killer/app optimisation and I don't think I should have to disable that just to run the clock. Not sure if that's something that can be fixed?
Can there be an option for rounded edges? Not too round, just a very slight curve instead of sharp corners would look nice in my opinion.
1) how about making a single widget that we can have multiple time zones added to? Let a 2x2 display up to four at a time and if we have more than scroll at a interval that we decide. 2) in the time zone selections you need to add generics zone names too like Central or Pacific.
Great standalone, but even better for travelers or those who need to know the time in different time zones. One thing would help, though: ability to save settings to apply them to other occurrences of the widget.
It does exactly what it says, the widget appearance is highly customizable, and it does everything with a minimum of space and battery usage. What's not to love?
I live in the Phoenix area where we don't observe daylight savings time. This app works well for me. I liked the uncluttered look on my phone.
This is a great app, it allows me to have several small clocks with my contacts and customers local time in the same page. It also allows to customise the name of the watch on screen.
Minimalistic, customizable. Bring more than one to your home page and label them according to your need. Excellent app, highly recommended.
I work with people in multiple time zones and this widget is helping a lot. will give five stars, but I observed that time is not getting updated sometimes. I have to open one widget time and save it to have latest time refect in all other widgets. I have 5 different icons with different time zones. I can send a screenshot if required. Let me know email id
works as advertised. hey can you please add armenian time zone in ur app.. thanx in advance :)
It does what it says. World clock widget on tourhome screen. Worth the download if you need it.
I need to keep track of some 15 different cities and this compact format clock makes that possible on one single screen.
Looks perfect, but is useless as the widget is fixed on the time that it was when I last opened the app. Will delete it.

I travel across multiple time zones for work and have a lot of international activities to keep track of as well. I literally tile this widget across part of a whole home screen page along with my calendar to keep up my situational awareness at a glance. I especially appreciate how granular the settings get. For a seemingly harmless little widget it is very customizable. Really like the ability to change even the font size separately between the time zone and location tags. Very nice little addition to my daily view. Bug free. Very pleased.
