Squat! for Android
Well what I mean by that is once it finally recognizes me it just doesn't squat down with me or once it does it automatically stops and doesn't let me squat.
It's okay but needs to work inside a cage...
Cool idea but app not working in current state. Why not a free test version? Does detect user but asks to stand still. Never starts analysis. Used in well lit area. Different settings does not seem to influence this. Only uses the front camera. Refund window expired while trying to get the app to work
But backcamera would be nice. I already read, that this feauture will come, so I'm looking forward to it :)
Chooses front facing camera with no apparently way to adjust it. Also, no option to choose a video file and only does live diagnosis which is not beneficial in the slightest. The fact that the limited information in the app doesn't really go into all the overt issues with it, there should be an ad supported free version until such time as the app lives up to usefulness. I feel gypped having paid for an app in this state.
With a steady background, this app will track your squat giving real-time feedback and tips on form... counts your reps then gives a final report on each rep. Worth thinking about how to set this up, but once working it is great... already showing me a lean a bit forward.

I am a massive fan of what this app is trying to do and when it works, it is fantastic. I hope that the rough edges that prevent it from working perfectly might be implemented sometime soon. Those edges though... Firstly, it does not seem to be easily able to pick me up in a bare, white painted corridor or any other situation that I am able to find around the house. I would note that this is for body squats, not with a bar and plates, so that might be better (I will try it and amend this review as necessary, but I really wanted to work on my wall squat form). If this could be improved natively, that would be brilliant. A possible way that I thought could help would be a link to something like a target that I could print, cut out and stick to my hips and knees that the app would recognise in the screen. I thought this might also improve its accuracy in depth measurements as well. Secondly, once it has started, 7/10 times it seems to recognise a random feature of the wall as the person, instead of me, and once it has done this, there seems to be no way to turn it off - some sort of button is needed to reset it once it has started.
