I have superuser (rooted, of course), and Chef's doesn't seem to allow freezing of some system apps. It simply says "Application does not have root." So how do I allow Chef's to have root access?!?

So far very impressed.

One of the very first apps I install when changing ROM/phone. This one is for those who like small, simple, specialized apps and don't want or need the myriad options other apps provide. What else can I say? It freezes, uninstalls and is easy to use. And it's free (no ads). The only thing missing for 5 stars would be a search button so you won't have to scroll the whole list for an app. Thank you, Chef.

Nice lightweight app freezer/remover. I've been using this for 2 years & use it to remove all bloat or anything safe to remove that I don't want like stock wallpapers etc. Keep up the good work devs!!!

I had to reboot my phone to stop this app - back button doesn't work. After struggling for months to stop apps running in the background I have had it with Google, Android and Samsung using my phone for their own purposes. Phone was due to be replaced - so for the first time ever I am going for an iPhone.

I went through two other similar apps before I got to this one. One only froze installed apps, and one peppered me with apps. This one did the job!

The best in freezing apps on lollipop

Not only does it take forever just to load up a keeps running but does nothing so it doesn't work. I'm uninstalling it.

This app has nothing extra added to it. This app just works, and does what it says its going to do effortlessly.

I use it everyday to freeze whatsapp, google play services and keypad when not required as these run in background continuously and consume ram even not needed...
