About WifiBar - Wifi Status bar Icon
WifiBar is a simple tool which easily shows which WIFI network you are connected to. Avoid accidentally being connected to the wrong network.
• Show a configurable icon on your status bar depending on which WIFI network you're on.
e.g. show a house icon for your home network, a book for college library, a coffee cup for your local coffee shop etc.
• There are 24 different WIFI icons and you can configure an icon for any remembered network.
• Unconfigured networks show an icon containing the first two letters of the network name.
• Only shows a small icon on the status bar leaving space on your desktop.
• A trial version is available which also puts a trial icon next to the wifi one.

What I want to know more than where I Am is what I am connected to especially at home where I have 2.4 & 5g and through two range extenders. So a sitting room icon, a bedroom, icon , a workshop icon and office (is OK). ( perhaps garden?). Would be useful additions or replacements so I knew I had changed over to the right extender and band. But great and useful and simple. App. Thankyou

It's a good concept, but there are serious bugs that prevent it from actually being useful. Most notably, it works at first, but then invariably gets "stuck" on a certain network, even after that network is no longer reachable. Reopening the app fixes the notification, but if you need to do a manual operation to fix the icon, it loses all its utility. It also puts two identical icons in the list of all apps, something I've never seen another app do. This suggests there are some pretty serious bugs.
