i cannot get the driver authentication to happen since this was released. Support hasn't got back to me regardless numerous attempts to contact them. Very poor service, and poor app

I verified my licence no probs but came up congrats now you are set up as a passenger, so I clicked set up as driver and it came up whoops your licence is already verified. So I had to back out and can only use as passenger, tried to search on rides the return trip time adds the same time as trip there and the search button is grayed out even though all fields are filled in.

But the fact it keeps giving an internet error even with full strength connection while trying to sign up, has me sadly decide to uninstall till further notice. I'll still happily do it the old fashioned way(pick up hitchhikers), till the bugs been sorted with this...

Can someone explain how you are supposed to scroll to set the year you were born?

Some first advises: Use a modern date picker, please, instead of this. Keep the actual Fragment visible when the activity resume. Do not block the full screen when loading to allow an easy back/do something else. But good to see a future Blablacar-like in NZ :)

A great idea I really wanted to try. The app crashes and asks for information I've already entered. I can't seem to list a ride I'm offering without putting my credit card details in, even though it says this is so you can pay the driver. I gave up at the $1 verification charge. I don't understand the logic if I'm offering a ride. Also a pain to have to sign in each time I open the app

The idea behind this app is a really good. The app just needs more users and to be less buggy, both of which I am confident will come in time. If done right this app has the ability to change how I, and many others, travel around the country

It's a really helpful app could save money but the app doesn't seem to work on my phone . It says it can't find my location and to turn on the gps when it is already on . Will give you 5 stars if you could fix it . Thanks.

My app is always stuck on the loading page after logging in.

I cant save my bank account on driver mode. other than that, i got nothing else to say as theres not much people using it yet around east auckland.

I really liked their customer service.

I know the app has some issues, which is why it does not get a 5 star today, but as far as I am aware, this is still in beta. The idea is great and effective, the team behind it are friendly and helpful. They act when clients have complaints and are working to fix the issues. Take this into account when rating the app

I entered my driver license number while setting up and when i want to switch to driver mode it ask me to verify my license and after i proceed my license details it says. Whoops. Could not create the verification The user is already verified or something like that.

Asks for loads of personal details with no explanation as to why (or what the app is or how it works), then it doesn't even work when they're provided. Yes I entered my licence details in the correct fields, but as with plenty of others, I just get a rubbish 'Whoops' error. It's so frustrating, and a compete waste of my time.

Initial feedback on setup, haven't tried the actual service yet maybe I will soon. 1. If I view T&Cs, it somehow opens the T&Cs page in full screen browser mode and I'm stuck there. Had to kill the app and start again to continue on. 2. Didn't complete driver registration on sign up. Went back to register as a driver. Verification failed with a big whoops. Then when I tried to register again, it'd tell me I'm already verified. If I try to use the drivers feature, it'd tell me I'm not verified. A few things need ironing out IMO.

Needs to have the option to be more vague about what time you'd like to travel, or when posting a ride, say you're flexible in times/dates to leave (especially for longer journeys)

updated: its basically unusable for me at the moment: I very much want it to exist and work, but... - Every Single Ride it asks to make a new billing token, I'm tired of putting my CC details in. Once should be enough - this is the thing that moved it down to 1 star for me. I simply am not going to get my CC out every time I sit down in the car. - I get a geolocation error trying to search for requests near me (am emailing the devs about it). - Driver mode is very confusing: whats 'my rides' vs 'my listings - under my rides creating a ride listing has the same interface as maknig a new ride listing under 'my listings'. - lots of UI glitches - hitting back on the search requests form doesn't do anything, for instance - would have expected it to take me to the prior form. - minor the bank account entry screen is opaque - it wants the unusual format xxxxxxxxxxxxxx rather than xx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxx

... and you want all my most secure personal details before i can even open it? Seriously?

It's hard to find rides at the moment because there obviously aren't that many people using the app. It would be great if the app gave suggestions that matched similar journeys. For example "sorry there are no rides from your st, how about these rides from nearby streets." Just a quick thought, for this business to work well it will need to work for lower volumes of users as well as when it gets to uber size. Maybe the ride search should work by groups of suburb at the moment rather than st?

Well the app works but the privacy policy and assurances of user data use & safety aren't very faith-inspiring. It should be made clear what info you're going to request BEFORE you sign up, not as you go. Sitting up my account I was gradually prompted for more and more info. Once inside the app is fairly okay with a few jarring design inconsistencies and poorly placed navigation buttons. The WORST part is the back button doesn't work, there are a few menus in the app such as searching for rides where you can't go back! I got stuck having a look around, my options were 1) fill out a massive form and submit a search 2) quit the app. It's also horribly annoying reaching to the top of the screen all the time and yeah.. that back button.. come on! Functionality wise the first jarring frustration is the fact you have to select a precise time to travel. Great if you're wanting to carpool to work & can't figure out how to socially ask your colleagues or use uber, not so great if you're trying to get a lift across the country. It would be good to see a way to set a desired travel date & have drivers and passengers negotiate a departure time.

Awesome release for a beta version of the app. Have not come accross any bugs in the system and the sign up went smoothly. Only point for improvement would be ability to select photos from the gallery rather than having to take them. Keep up the good work guys!

Tried to verify myself through several channels and consistently failed.

When signing up as driver it says 'could not create, user already verified'. Hmm fishy! Stealing info already?

Why you need verification each time we open the app?? I think I should uninstall this....

I travel each day to work yet I can only set up a recurring ride for the next 2 weeks??

Great idea signed up can't create a ride I put in all the details get a blue send button but won't send. Samsung s5 android version 5.0

Reoccurring component is a little buggy, understandable for a new app.

Put my correct info in and it won't verify keeps saying woops
