About app.iness
“How are you doing?” - That's supposed to be a simple question, isn't it?
How well did you do in average during the past two months?
Up to 80 percent of people presented with this question only find a momentary, subjective answer that will be way off their actual experience.
app.iness provides a means to find a better answer.
It is incontestable that it is useful to reflect and measure your performance every day. Basically every self-management course preaches this. Work affairs are measured by effectivity, private life by happiness – and in many cases the latter is a direct result of the first.
This app enables you to give a rating for every day – in a traffic-light representation which is easy to understand.
The longer the period that you are measuring you highs and lows, the better you'll be able to realize what makes you happy and what pulls you down. Your ratings can be displayed as grahical analysis, hence you get a log giving you a relatively objective history of your happiness - available at your fingertips at all times.
Whether you apply it to your private life, your professional career, or both – it's up to you. Start measuring now – 5 seconds a day – and over the course of just one week you'll start getting a better perspective. Look out for the Update, which will bring many exciting new features designed to help you to analyze your performance curve even better and of course improve upon it – should it be necessary.
app.iness will be continually improved – the first update in October 2013 will bring the following features (amongst others):
- Diary function, enabling you to stick a note to individual days
- configurable (i.e. weekly, monthly, year) chart analysis
- Backup and Restore functionality for your personal data
Have fun!

This sticks every single time I use it. To do anything I have to come out of the app and then go back in each time a question is asked. Clearly a fault needs to be fixed. Update.....I now don't get the messages to update the app. It's fairly rubbish really
