About Legacy View
Legacy View makes setting up and monitoring your Chandler Systems water treatment system easier than ever! This App covers systems sold under Chandler Systems' three brands (CSI, Clearion and WaterSoft) that use the Legacy View Valve. When used with a Legacy View Valve the user, through the app, can do the following functions:
- Conveniently view all valve settings and status.
- Easily change valve settings.
- View current water usage information.
- Graphically view water usage information.
- Start a regeneration or backwash cycle from your phone or tablet.
- Set / view the servicing water treatment dealer information.
- Better understand how your system is working and understand what settings are for.
- Connect to all of your valves in your system (if they are all Legacy View Valves).
- Update firmware on Bluetooth LE valves
- Manage your connection to your valves.
Note: Valves with a revision number greater or equal to “C2.00” are only compatible with Bluetooth 4.0+ (a.k.a. Bluetooth LE) smartphones and tablets. If you have an Android or Apple device with a compatible Bluetooth radio it can be used to connect to the valve. Valves with a revision number less than “C2.00” use a Bluetooth 2.0 radio and will be referred to below as BT. Valves with a revision number greater or equal to “C2.00” will be referred to as BTLE.
(The firmware revision of the valve can be viewed on the valve display for 2 seconds after the valve is powered up.)
Unfortunately due to changing Bluetooth and Tablet / Phone manufacturing standards, not all tablets and smart phones are compatible with all valve versions. In general, the information below should guide you in compatibility.

* You must install the Legacy View app from the Apple App Store in order to use an Apple device.
Permissions:
- Access Bluetooth setting, Pair with Bluetooth devices: This app uses your devices Bluetooth radio to communicate with the Legacy View valve.
- Approximate location (network-based): This is a requirement of the Android operating system for the App to scan for Bluetooth devices on Android Marshmallow +.

Initially did not work but figured it out. Initial 1star raised to a 4. I'll reserve judgement if a 5 is warranted with use. The Dealer/Installer had no clue. Problem encounter was the initial pairing kept asking for password but never presented a place to enter a password. The user manual needs to be more detailed or APP screen needs to be more intuitive. After trail and error and callong the dealer the solution was that the password must be entered totally outside the app and in the pairing screen of the device. App screen never says you must exit the app to enter the password.

Previously rated one star. Didn't work. Contacted support and was told my filter was not Bluetooth enabled so they send me a new updated powerhead. Still doesn't work. I've had nothing but trouble from this Procector system AND the app. If you're thinking about a purchase, skip this one and go to culligan. Will give a better rating if the piece of junk ever works. My water is still orange and this app still doesn't connect.
