Planboard - Free Lesson Planner for Teachers

I like the support for multiple platforms, which lets me plan on my desktop and then teach from my tablet. There is some inflexibility when it comes to unusual days (which there are a lot of at the start of the year) and situations where your schedule may change semi-frequently (i.e. every month or 6 weeks).

It's great and I like it on a computer, but on my phone it only shows the title and unit. It would be great to see the lesson immediately rather than having to open it. It would be nice to able to see and scroll through all the days lessons in the same row. It would also be nice to have different view options... day, week, month. I have a larger note phone and it could easily see a weekly and month view. All the boxes are the same size. The ones without lesson information could be smaller to save space. It's colorful and a very useful app though overall.

This is a great app for keeping track and planning. I have twelve classes running a two week timetable, without an app like this I get tied in knots! I am an advocate for this app in every school I work in and it works across desktop, phone and tablet. Well done guys! Keep improving this super app!

Love that app but I'm having a few tech issues such as my timetable not showing everything. Tried signing in and out without any improvement. It would also be nice to color code subjects.

I really love this app. It's so useful and such a time-saver. I love that I can use it on different devices and how I can add unit resources etc. But I'd love for the app to work without an Internet connection. I realise it needs it to sync but I should still be able to use the app within reason. Please Chalk, do something about it. I can't even open the app if there's no Internet

Love that I'm planning on my phone right now but can open it on my laptop each morning- very flexible/user friendly

This app is awesome as a new teacher to keep organized. I used it also to write lessons for my portfolio. Easy to attach standards by picking from a list.

Very handy. The view on the phone app could be easier to read. But overall, a great app for teachers.

I love the web app, and appreciate having a mobile version...when I have Wi-Fi.

My suggestion would be a monthly calender view

Love the app. Great way to plan, track and ensure you're organised for your day, week, unit etc... If I were to suggest an addition, it would be great to allow viewing privileges to colleagues or enable joint contributions from colleagues. Definitely the best app I've found for lesson planning, unit planning. Ability to sync with Google drive, outstanding.

I would give this a five star rating if there were to be an app for the Macbook. I am not going to be around wifi when I am camping and would have love to be able to type and add things to planboard on an app. I think it would be smart to create an app for the computer that a person could work in offline then sync when they accessed wifi again.

Love this app!! Makes my life easier keeping up with work and a baby. Please work on an option to copy one whole unit's planning to another, and not only ine lesson at a time.

Best app out there. Used the online PC platform too to make it really fit my needs
