Flashify (for root users) for Android
The fact that you guys bricked your device is yours to blame. You need to know the exact model of your phone and be aware of what you're installing. On every phone I've used this on it has worked. Also, you can't thank these guys for bricking your device as they do not take responsibility of your actions.
Destroys the stock recovery on a LG G2 D801 30c, but fails to properly flash a TWRP img. Worse than useless. Author has the gumption to ask for $ to remove limit of 3 flashes per day. Maybe if it were working right multiple flashes per day wouldn't be necessary.
Great for updating custom recovery via img files, making backups on kernels and restoring them. Works great on the LG V10 and would recommend for any root user. The only thing this tool wouldn't do is recognize my current custom recovery. Other that it's great!!
A perfect simple great ui tool. which deals with flashing couple partitions. ZIP Recovery Boot. I am attracted a lot to recovery. I develop unofficial recoveries. Each time using fastboot is headache so thanks a lot to Flashify and Samsung users you people have KNOX is your device where as Flashify app doesn't care while flashing so please spamming if you don't want to trip KNOX then I suggest FlashFire.
WARNING WARNING: This app will destroy your phone! I have tried using this app on several phones. Revert one of them ended up in the garbage. This is not die to any error on my part. I am an experienced root user. This app is NOT SAFE TO USE by experts. Let alone novices.
Works as described. Easy to use. Flashing a newer version of TWRP for my Samsung Galaxy Light couldn't have been easier. Premium upgrade was a no-brainer! Flashify really is a useful, elegant, well-designed app! My only complaint is the lack of ability to backup to my external SD card...internal storage is in short supply on my device. For the user(s) claiming this app bricked their phone... YOU bricked your phone! Not for amateurs.
I tried 5 times 24 hrs ago & failed. They didn't have the latest 3.0 something so I used the 2.8.7.0, not noticing that the top 2 are the same #'s, though not the same. I just retried it, using the next to the last & it went through in 3 secs. Had I not gone back, noticed two identical #'s, I'd still be in stock recovery. 10 stars to this young man. They wouldn't fit on the survey. Thank you so much for a great app & the recovery.S4 I9500 exynos 5 (rooted) now with TWRP!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!
App crash requires me to reinstall to finally get back in the app. Unable to backup to Google Drive successfully. Unable to save backup to internal storage. Keep getting an error saying it wants to backup to an sdcard, which my phone doesn't/can't use.
If it works on galaxy note gt-n7000 I'll give 5★★★★★ But now No.I neet custom recovery twrp/cwm of Galaxy Note GT-N7000 please update
I downloaded a bumped twrp for my lg g3 and then I flashed it using this. But instead of replacing my stock recovery, it repaced my boot and now my boot is always showing me an error. While I tried on Rashr, it was successful and it doesn't give me any problem. Never gonna recommend this app to anybody.
Never found any issue if you are correctly rooted. Need some more improvement, sometimes unable to download TWRP recovery online. Rest I can use the .img file so nothing to get worried.
Does not work. Crashes on my Tab 2 when trying to open the backup recovery and kernel. Also download complete of the img but not completing the installation. EDIT: changed from 1 to 5 stars. I rooted my samsung tab 2 using Odin then the app worked fine.
Does this app require an unlocked bootloader before flashing? I cannot seem to unlock it on my Acer iconia b1-710 tablet, but I have managed to root it via KingRoot and still fine... I really do not want to soft brick this device right now... (if this helps, I'm running Jelly Bean)
I'm an experienced rooter but I tried this program because it was quick and easy. Well, two seconds in and I'm stuck in a permanent bootloop! And because I have an S6 I can't pull the battery! WTH?! Update: Put stock rom back on, got it back, uninstalled. Tried TWRP manually and this still happens!!
Cannot use any download option. App continues to display error message stating "Something went wrong. Try again later." Don't waste your money!
People that brick there devices with this app dont need to be flashing anyways. Ive never bricked a device with flashify. It can happen. Always make backups and know what you are doing not think you know.
I have twrp 3.0.3 installed on my device but it shows it as stock recovery. I read it's description that it shows wrong version than reboot to recovery once again and come back but then also it shows it as stock recovery. If you can solve this issue reply me.
This app works with no problem at all! Dont use this app if you dont know what your doing and stop complaining about bricked devices cause its your own stupidity...
Nice! works like a charm! help me a lot when my stock recovery mode mess up and unable to do a factory reset. i used this to flaah CWM recoveey. Thanks!
But i have issues downloading the twrp custom recoveries. None of it is starting to download at all. It asks me to try again in a few moments but nothing is changing at all.
It freezes whenever I click on choose file for flash recovery and it won't flash after it says downloading and it freezes there too please fix this my device model is SAMSUNG TAB 3 SM-T110
Pathetic, constantly asking for premium and money. Take a look at Rashr - free AND no ads AND open source. Not recommending this.
Screw you. What's this 3 a day flashing limit I never saw this before. Just use Lucky Patcher to fix this.
Has helped me out a lot. Works like a charm! Don't listen to bad reviews. Chances are that some people aren't using it properly or don't have their phones rooted which is a must.
Recovery Image - Phil's doesn't work on "Oppo F1s" I just see a message which says "something went wrong, try again later" < I'm not sure if that's a message from the Flashify app or the Android OS. I already Rooted my phone with "King Root" Please tell me what's wrong. Note: On my first attempt it was functioning/working, in process with the circle rotationg onscreen, but it was taking so long 15minutes that I exited. Let me know.
This wiped out my recovery, stuck in fastboot mode! DO NOT USE. Plus you only get 3 tries before it begs for $! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, USE OFFICIAL TWRP APP
This is very risky dont do from this app do from rom manager
i install this apps do the procedure everything is fine until i reach the last step.selecting reboot now or flash more.i click reboot now but i stock into logo.15mins after i decided to remove the battery and start again.open the apps then restore the stock recovery this time i wish it goes fine but it goes worst.stock again into logo. this time even i remove the batt then turn on the phone.stock permanently...
Want to brick someone's phone? Or your phone maybe? Wow then install this app right away and GET STOCKED
Upgraded TWRP to CM recovery in a whizz. Both, adb and fastboot weren't working for me due to an issue with a custom TWRP version and Flashify solved this old problem.
I can't believe what this app did to my precious galaxy s4 , my phone had a hard brick because of this app , please be careful when using this app !!
I'm so used to being able to flash anything with Flashify that I instinctively reached for it when I wanted to get rid of my RRO Layers and start clean again. But Flashify doesn't apparently flash vendors so this would be a great and necessary update! Thanks for the great app!
I downloaded this, beacuse i wanted to download CWM Recovery so that I could flash a zip wich improves CM12x.. I downloaded it, flashed it (from Flashify) and it's stuck on Downloading.... Do not turn off target ! I have a S3 Neo... Thanks guys. Thanks for f*cking my phone up!
Never found any issue if you are correctly rooted. Need some more improvement, sometimes unable to download TWRP recovery online. Rest I can use the .img file so nothing to get worried.
Does EXACTLY what it describes. Wish I would have found this MUCH earlier. This makes everything 100 times better. I appreciate the developers contribution to the flash/root/rom community. Flashed newly updated TWRP recovery in under two seconds flat! If you leave a bad review, you shouldn't be messing with flash/root AT ALL and have no business leaving bad reviews because of your stupidity and lack of knowledge in the Android world.
This worked for me on Oneplus one which has unlocked bootloader and running Resurrection remix, I've booted into TWRP it looks okay, I've yet to try flashing a different rom or restoring a backup. I installed TWRP 3.0.1.0 I was previously on TWRP 2. 8.7.0. Can anyone tell me if it necessary to always update to the latest version of TWRP?
First off, I must preface this with the statement that there's a lot of bad reviews about people bricking their phones with this; this is not the dev's fault. They probably had no idea what they were doing. On to the review- this is hands down the best utility in its niche. Easy to use, quick, and loaded with options. Works for me flawlessly every time. tl;dr- Great app, worth the pro purchase. P.S.- to dev: only thing I would change? I wish there was a widget option for the advanced reboot panel in the app.
So many websites have recommended this app, but i don't know what is not working here. And it seems some other people also have same issue. It freezes when i tap 'choose file'. While directly downloading recovery file, no problem while downloading, but it keeps on rotating after that. Something must be wrong and I'm not being able to find out why. Till then, 1 star :(
Terrible!!!!!!! tried to flash a rom, it asked me to copy previous rom, i opted not to because i had already done that with TWRP. Flashing failed, so i said hey, let me just reboot into recovery. Tried that and it automatically tries to install the rom again, fail after fail after fail. Ridiculous annoying loop.....frustrating.

EDIT 2/8/16: Get the FlashFire Pro upgrade by Chainfire for a MUCH CHEAPER price. Gives so much more customizability and flashing options. Then you can have full control. Why didn't I figure that out before... *facepalm* APP REVIEW: Gives me more control over my phone! Not much to say yet other than flashing TWRP recovery and backing up works flawlessly!
