I agree with the other positive reviews. It's fast. The radar maps are really nice. I gave only 3 stars because the widgets are terrible. I will continue using TWNs app solely because of this.

I like the radar satellite maps, and the choice of alerts. The supplemental weather forecast and special update videos are a really nice addition! The overall site design and ease of navigation is very good as well. Great job Mr. Spence

So far so good. Apps is very fast and bug free. The maps are fast to load. Switched from the weather network. I highly recommend people should download this app and make it your main weather app!

One of the most interesting things about this app compared to other weather/news apps from local news outlets is the lightning alert. If you allow the app to know your location, if lightning is detected nearby (through the equipment at the station, not from your phone of course), you get an alert. This feature alone could very well be a lifesaver, prompting people to take cover when lightning crops up around their location.
