My Media Center for Android
Works great controls my media center computer and my xbox extenders as well! Wish some functionality features were different but all in all very good. Only thing I would change is add the ability to reboot the media center computer!
I rarely review apps. This is one exception. It is just amazing. The integration of WMCE is pure and effective. Took five min. to setup including the port forward in the router. Amazing it is. Thanks a ton. Well worth the money.
I was able to connect to my PC using Microsoft remote connect, but I cannot connect with this software. And I can't seem to get a refund either ( guessing because I tried and failed once before and got a refund?) I was hoping it would connect now, but no luck, I just wasted $5 for nothing.
I have a HDHomerun Prime tuner installed on my PC/Network so that I can watch Live TV on my PC and so I could avoid paying a monthly costly set top box fee with Verizon Fios. I have a Window Media Center remote that I have been using with my TV but it's annoying because its an IR remote. I would have to be in line with the IR receiver to get it working. Not to mention I have to waste an usb port to connect the IR receiver. So with that being said I needed an alternative remote that would work via WiFi to avoid both issues that I have with the IR and much needed usb port. I've tried a few other apps that was good but not great. Turns out that this app is exactly what I was looking for. I can use my cell phone/tablet as a remote and view the guide directly on my phone/tablet, surf channels & record tv programs. This app is awesome. Thank you for this app. I only have 1 negative thing to add, it would be nice if other members in my family could use this app without paying a separate payment. Many purchased apps in the play store can now be used and downloaded by other members within your family without paying more because of the fact that their account is different. I think if any app needs to be under a family plan this is one of them.
I am going to miss Media Center when it's killed in 2023. This app is wonderful with or without a Ceton tuner. 3 media center pc's and 3 phones. Great remote and scheduled recorded TV functions.
But it would be nice if it would navigate to music, & videos. Perhaps I'm missing something.
Doesn't work, says it's not licensed, even tried uninstalling and reinstalling in the play store.
Any chance of an update for Android 7 compatibility? App doesn't work on my Pixel.
Don't get me wrong, if you would have asked me this question 2 years ago I would have said "go with Ceton". But now that Android TV is out and we can finally take advantage of our cable cards and multiple tuners, Ceton has decided to abandon us. With no app is sight (as stated by Ceton staff) I feel they have abandoned the sinking ship and left users to drown. Just look at the app support on Silicondust. You can even watch live TV on your phone or tablet.
Nice interface for WMC paired with ceton Infiniti T.V. I think I just bought abandoneware. Not really useful for searching my movie lib and not too handy for tv either. Guide is cool . Setting TV recording usually crashes the app or WMC
We really should be able to stream, at the very least, our recorded content. I was streaming live TV through another app 5 years ago.

As a non-cable person I am perfectly happy to maintain a dedicated Win7 computer with Microsoft Media Center as my DVR. (I don't care how much Win10 pleas to install itself...it ain't gonna happen on this one). I just found this app that gives me the ability to add/change items in my recording schedule REMOTELY. It installed quickly and configured itself with no real effort on my part. Bravo Ceton! I will be taking a look at your other products!
Windows 10 arrived and killed my Windows 7 media centre. Migrated to Mythbuntu, which wipes the floor with it. Ceton, if you write an app that controls a mythtv box (because mythtv's own is rubbish), I'll buy.

Fantastic app to control/integrate with your CableCard/WMC setup. It's such a shame that Microsoft is ending it's support for WMC.

Needs larger guide, other than that it is excellent!
Awesome, but what about some development?
Fantastic app. I do not even bother checking MediaCenter anymore. I manage everything with this. It's a must have. However make sure you use an older version of the computer software to get all functionality. Newer server version is broken.
Awesome app, but it needs to be able to start and turn off wmc. And would be nice to have a mouse option. I I will absolutely give 5 stars if it had an on/off and or mouse option. Last update caused the app not to see my pc(6-15-2015)
Hi, just tried on Android M developer preview and it doesn't work. Just closes.
This is a great app. More features are coming I've read, and at $5, its worth it, even if some think it's basic. It does everything that was promised.

Would be great (5 star) of the media playback worked.
Works great
All features work like a charm on my BlackBerry Q10 after manually inputting my computer details. The tune-to and the remote features are great add-ins. If you have any trouble try reinstalling. Overall, this app has completed my HTPC setup to allow me to record mobile. Couldn't be happier.

Horrible application as far as usability goes. Searching rarely works. Doesn't support custom channel lists. Perfect example of doing the least to get by.
No longer connects to my PC. Complains about a password I never set. I have no idea where the ceton service on my pc is getting it's ips from. Seems like sorry had been abandoned
Very slow connecting and getting show information if at all.
Will not function. No app for watching live tuner feeds on mobile devices as with SiliconDust tuners.
Makes Windows Media Center worth using.
It will not connect remotely on LTE Network with the LG3 phone
But it would be nice if it would navigate to music, & videos. Perhaps I'm missing something.
Did not realize I had to download more software. Should have read more.
Doesn't record when I want it to, misses recordings and then it scheduled a series recording that I can't cancel.
Does everything I want it to with ease
