Idyacy Dodo Glasgow TTS Voice for Android
Didn't care for the robot voice

While the accent seems to be bang on, that delivery sucks. playback is almost inaudible, and seems to have a ton of background noise.. Reading the reviews of their paid voice options, I expected much more from this developer. Wanted to do a trial run on my device before making a purchase.. (Testing out their voices on a web page, is not the same as trying it out on your device.)
Sounds ridiculous, but for free? Can't complain. CereProc has some great paid voices.
Pretty sketchy programming. No expression, robotic, pauses between words wrong. Something this bad shouldn't even be released. Needs a lot of improvement guys. Back to the drawing board.
I love the accent!
My life is complete.
I'm not willing to pay money for a voice on my device and I really wanted a male sound for my assistant app. It may be hard understanding him at times but I've grown very fond of this voice.
I'm very disappointed that it won't remain set as the default text-to-speech program. My phone says my only default language options are English and Spanish; but I can install as many keyboards as I want?!?

Aside from sounding like a robot from Scotland, it sounds alright. It's a great start. It sounds like what it's supposed to; a young man from Glasgow. A little more fluidity to the speech would help, as would a little inflection and variation in tone. I know I'm probably seeming to say this as if it's no big deal. Just trying to help pinpoint the areas needing attention. I'm amazed at the advancements made to TTS technologies over the last few decades. It's astounding! Keep up the good work.
A bit choppy. Very monotone.
GLESGA MAN. AM I. AND HAD THIS GREAT APP ON S 4 , NOW HAVE S NOTE 3 AND IT WON'T DOWNLOAD ONTO SD. or DEVICE s
Good clear voice able to umderstand. He also speaks a little faster. Thanks
Has allot of room for improvement. Doesn't sound too good in English. Words are run together and jumbled up. Note 3.
Gonae no dae dat! Lol !!
Not enough volume

Sounds more like a robot
Uninstalled after first use.
Works flawlessly with the S3!
Really handy to communicate with my neighbour who is from Glasgow. Looking forward to the speech recogniser!
Great laff.
The way it speak is not exactly robotic but it is similar to a brain dead person. Some words such as "hello" sounds a bit weird.anyone can notice these problems after using this app for 30 secs.
Make available an Irish male voice, will pay for that. This app is good, buggy (voice cuts out when speaking some) on 4.0+ but very nice job still.
Pure dead brilliant. Great laff.
Pure quality man! Works flawlessly with the S3!
Best Glaswegian voice ever! Really handy to communicate with my neighbour who is from Glasgow. Looking forward to the speech recogniser!

I'm not Glaswegian, so I can't vouch for the authenticity of the accent, but to me this sounds great and far superior to the posh RP english accents generally supplied. Yes, it does sound a little robotic but I know Scots who genuinely do talk that way. ;) Perfect for reading detective noir.
