Tijdens Gouda bij Kaarslicht ziet een bijzondere nieuwe app het levenslicht: xplre Gouda. Een groepje studenten van de Haagse Hogeschool heeft onder begeleiding van Centric een app ontwikkeld die de stad op een ander manier tot leven brengt. Nieuwe en bestaande routes met informatie over de (cultuur)historie van de binnenstad, over evenementen en straks ook horeca en bijzondere winkeltjes. U kunt met Free wifi op de Markt uw wandeling naar keuze beginnen en dan de route volgen, buiten de Markt met uw eigen 3G/4G. Bij alle bijzondere plekken onderweg kunt u actuele informatie ophalen als u net ietsje meer wilt weten. Zo wordt een bezoek aan Gouda voor iedereen, toeristen, inwoners en shoppers nog meer de moeite waard en een echte belevenis. In de toekomst zullen er allerlei nieuwe routes en informatie worden toegevoegd. During Gouda by Candlelight a special new app sees the light: xplre Gouda.
