Useful for outlining a story with drag & drop cards. Easy to change scenes around, but it needs a scroll bar at the side; it's too easy to accidentally move cards when swiping the screen. I find myself adding info to an earlier scene, then scrolling to the end only to find I've inadvertently moved cards while swiping. Please add a 'lock cards' function to remove the problem. Also, when finished, I have to tap on another part of the screen to close the typing function. A check box to close would help!
Crashes so often almost every time you open the app which makes it unuseable. There's a serious amount of lagtime with the connection to the cloud aswell.
Sync from android to web doesn't work when you remove card on android.
I love the folder option and the cards look great. Wrote a few notes down. Closed it. Opened it back up. Everything looked fine. Wrote some more. Shut down and when I checked back today, more than half of it was gone. Thankfully it wasn't my whole outline but this is not reliable. Sure I could have connected it to he cloud through celtx but I don't trust their security. And I shouldn't have to rely on that to save my progress. If so, it definitely should be mentioned in the app description. Not happy.
I've used CELTX for awhile, and FDraft before that. Can't understand the usefulness of index cards as a separate app. Why would I use this? I like being able to easily rearrange scenes using 'index cards' metaphor, but can't see scriptwriting entire outline using this awkward index cards UI ..? WHY WHY WHY? ATTN: CELTX -- please make a better product that's more integrated, not a fragmented product that is confusing & unhelpful!
Simple app for a simple purpose that works as advertised for me, but does little else. It would be nice to have more features, but considering it's a free add-on for Celtx it delivers exactly what it promises to.
Insert card after selected card function is a must be. Current insert card is not so functional because everytime we insert new card, it is added at the end of list. And you should drag it manually to the right place again and again. Plus dragging a card is hard because scrolling is soo slow. After you have more than 30 scenes it becomes horrible. And faster sync or optional syncing please. Thanks.
All it does is bring me to the sign-in page which may as well be a picture as neither the text boxes nor the buttons work. Try the website instead, the app is useless.
After my agent pointed out how poor formatting was in Celtx Script and to use FDraft I've treaded anything Celtx with caution. CARDS simply doesnt work at all (Samsung S4). CELTX is proving itself to be a very amateur outfit. I have no issues slamming a "free" app that charges for a subscription either. Final Draft and Fade In are one time fees at least. CELTX is trying to innovate which is admirable however they still cant get the standard screenplay app right.
I got a studio account today to make full use of the celtx services for an upcoming project, and find myself amazed by the new features provided, especially this app!
I tend to write my outlines in regular Celtx out of habit. But this is a very neat idea!
I downloaded this when it first came out, logged in excited and started entering some of my notes in. I went back in to try to make some changes to some notes a little later and it said I needed to log-in again, and took me to a log-in page in which I was completely unable to type in my username or password, and it wouldn't even bring up the Android keyboard to let me type. I posted about this issue in the Support forums two or three months ago and still haven't received any form of response about this issue. Severely disappointing as I was looking to sign up for one of the more advanced account types but with the lack of Customer Support, communication, or a portable app that actually works are making me rethink that idea.
Much better than the last version.
I like this app but the user interface needs some improvement. I can't position the cursor wherever I want to easily edit and make changes to my cards without erasing half of the sentences or half the paragraph, etc. Please make an update that will fix this issue. Thanks!

The titles on the cards are not visible while you are typing, crashes periodically while running and often during app close. Cards are hidden by the keyboard forcing the user to open and close the keyboard to see what was typed.
