Is it normal to have dozens of peaks from 0 to 8.2 W/kg in few seconds when using LTE? My phone is S7 edge. If I turn the network mode to 3G only, everything is fine and the SAR values are below 0.5. I find it really weird.

It says that my sar value, while I'm just using Wi-Fi is 0.39W/kg. This exceeds my sar value given by Sony with 0.10W/kg. I know that manufacturers are forced to make good and actual measurements by numerous laws worldwide, with actual equipment specified for reading microwave radiation and that they use calculations with the highest measured value to find your sar value. My phone is not equipped with something like that and therefore shall never be able to make real estimations or calculations. Just scam

Best app ever.it shows how many radiation explode from mobile.i am using samsung j7and its SAR lv 0.5.while using 3G data or calling data it shows around average 1.according to fcc SAR LV upto1.6 w/kg safe.and while using 4g network data or calling it exceeds last limit of app around 7.0 which very dangerous for our brain or health.so guyz when using 4G network try to your mobile in range(not close in range tower)or avoid use of 4G network.2G also not safe .prefer 3G.my headache incresed when i used 4G

I don't think that this app gives true info. Everytime the SAR is higher than 2.0 sometimes it is 5.8,6.0. My phone company says my phone SAR is 1.6. False information.

You repeatedly say that the app shows high SAR ratings because you calibrate the app using a distance of 10 mm while the many test at 15 mm. This is incorrect. I downloaded the FCC SAR Report for my phone, Moto G4, and it says they test at 0mm (head) and 10mm (body). The highest my phone can go with all radios active is 1.56. Your app shows spikes at 5.5. Also you state you use DASY4 software. The FCC uses DASY5. In interviews you mention how the FCC only tests downlink and not uplink. This is also incorrect as they state in each report that they test all ranges including the worst case scenarios of both uplink and downlink. Since your app can't test actual radiation, I would think it is more hype than help. (edit 12-9-12) Manufacturer offers no documentation nor proof that app is accurate on their website. States phone manufacturer would produce similar results if phone was tested at 0mm body. However phone IS tested at 0mm head (flat against cheek). Phone shows SAR at 1.23 head and 1.10 (10 mm from body). Obviously 0mm shows higher SAR than 10mm. Cellraid offers no explanation as to why their app should show extremely high SAR at 0mm body, when head at 0mm does not.

very useful app it shows my mobile always remains in very high limits in 3g upto 5.5 to 6 so I use 2g only .My mobile is honor 5c .How can I solve this problem .

Huawei P9 lite SAR rating is extremely high according to this app. 5.5 using 4G and 4.9 using 3g. 0.39 with WiFi

is this calculation is correct?.at thetime of calling or receiving sar value is higher than 4 .then power density is higher than maximum level

I was just checking the app after seeing an article online. Here are my concern and suggestion, - How is it possible that the exposure I get from Wi-fi is way larger than the 3G/4G signals? I thought the power of Wi-fi is less ... - Why don't you make the quanta-cloud service available for the people who can not have Quanta Guard because of Android limitations (above Android 4.4). You can have a Pro Quanta Monitor and ask for money maybe...

If my power density exposure is up to 100 000 & above, is it safe?

It is unique application which shows radiation. Quite surprised to see radiation results.

For some reason, this developer's other app "Quanta Guard" isn't listed here as 1 of their other apps, & is stated as not compatible with my device/OS. I wonder if this app is truly compatible with my device/OS, as the line graph only registers the spikes in activity shown on the speedometer for only a few seconds after opening the app. There are no accessible settings, & the app starts up & runs in the background every time I boot up my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (model SM-N910V) until I manually kill it. :(

Using a Sony D6616, sar is either 0 or 7.5 (max) when using the radio (lte) is this accurate? Wouldn't surprise me this phone runs hot ♨! Thanks for making me more paranoid

At least u r trying to be a part of solving men created destruction some how we will acknowledge of the radiation rather ignorance so a guide line if enclose is more appropriate

I don't see what this has to do with fitness. Health, yes. So my phone (Note 4) has the highest number on the scale for SAR whenever data is being tramsmitted to or from my phone via LTE. I appreciate the intentions of making people more aware of the radiation. We all need to be more concerned with it for sure. But the app has told me my phone emits high levels of SAR almost all the time, so now that can just be expected and I don't need the app anymore. Why do I need to log this data?

How do we know this is accurate? My cumulative was up to 10,000 in 20min. or so. How about an explanation on what safe levels are??

Tried the SAR graphing. Showed zero when not using phone, zero when in a call. Doesn't do anything.

I am unable to find Quanta Guard. Why so. Hi Team as per your reply I tried to install Quanta Guard but it was not there in Google Play Store.

Highly recommended in 4G device space. Very good visualisation of SAR exposures.

If its working properly than danger lavel is 1 million times more than safety level.

Promising premise. Look forward to the next app that let's us control / twice SAR exposure
