Our current workshop which start from Monday 21st - Friday 25th March 2016 is about Clinical Research: Research Methodology, Evidence Based Medicine and Data Analysis. On the first day we will explain about clinical research methodology and data management. All important issues of research methods will be covered and discussed. Trips and tricks for successfully developing research proposal to win grant agency will be shared. Hint for conducting study successfully will also be discussed. Data management will include how to create case record forms and databases using Epidata. Data quality control such as cleaning checking, and validating data will also be covered.

Next, the second day we will talk about descriptive and inferential statistics which will lead on to hypothesis testing for continuous and categorical data. The third day we move on to discuss how to apply evidence based medicine in bed-side teaching and clinical practice by type of wvidence such as diagnostic, risk, treatment, and progonostic studies. On the fourth day we will move to intermediate to advanced statistical analysis in medical research. This will focus on linear regression analysis and logistic regression, and how to create clinical prediction score. Finally, the last day will be advanced statistical analysis in medical research, which is about analysis for time to event data. This will start from naive Kaplan-meier method to competing risk model, and multi-state model.

This workshop will provide concepts and the practical application with hands on experience of applying these methods to real research. Eletronic handout and materials will be provided via our CEB-Workshop application. Please join us and learn more together.
