It's endlessly annoying apps that fail to specify if it's Portuguese from Portugal or Brazil - they're not the same and not interchangeable! Phrase construction and words pronunciation is totally different! This app is both false advertisement and poor app construction - constantly mixing Portuguese (PT) and "Brazilian". Total nonsense as I'm a native PT speaker. Google should regulate these apps titles - totally misleading. I want a refund.

This seems like a great app and more my style (comprehensive) than the Rosetta stone-esque models. I'm able to study the grammar forms and vocabulary directly rather than having to sit through repetitive phrase recalling and picture identifying

It's getting really frustrating and must be some kind of bug. I installed and reinstalled l, no luck. When I try to exercise specific grammar, ser and estar is the only option. When I try to practice all, it's only ser and estar. So frustrating, and wasn't the case when I first purchased. Please fix!!!!!

I would give it a five star rating, if I could get the speech practice questions to work. This is an application that will challenge your comprehensive abilities. Great for the serious and casual student of the Portuguese Language.

Good ideas, could use more examples and explanations in the grammar sections. For vocabulary, they should add an additional section that presents words based on their frequency of use age as opposed to alphabetical order.

There are no structured lessons. The part where you are supposed to listen to tge pronunciation you have to listen to an english machine voice trying to read out Portuguese words with absolutely no success. My Portuguese boyfriend was near when I listened to it and his exact words were : "What language is that?" This would be poor even for a free app, but for this price I would expect to see something decent at least.

Finally a perfect app to learn Portuguese properly and not just phrases or words. There are various ways to do exercises and basic grammar rules are well explained. I love especially the listening exercises. If you are serious about learning the language, this app is for you. Update: after switching phones I encountered problems with audio and emailed def but never received an answer. Very disappointed! Now only 3 stars!

I used this app in it's infancy but stopped about a year ago. I was pleasantly surprised when I downloaded it again recently to see how much more it has developed. It was always good but now it is very comprehensive. Don't expect to learn the language from this app alone (or any app for that matter), but it is a very handy accompaniment to a more intensive Portuguese resource.
