Hour & Elapsed Time Calculator

I believe this is the Best & accurate T.C. app. It can calculate not only hours that are on the same day, it can also calculate the hours from the previous day until the next day! I used to have the "time calc" app which couldn't calculate the sum of hours from (yesterday afternoon 15:30 until today 9:55 am in the morning). The results were wrong =5 hours & 35 minutes from (15:30 to 9:55???) The correct answer is: 18 hours & 25 minutes. Your application gave me the correct answer. Thanx guys :-)

Gives the answer in decimal parts of an hour, which is exactly what I require. Answer readout could be larger and a switch to turn off the delete confirmation. Love the no permissions needed. Unfortunately, I have upgraded my phone to a s5 mini and I no longer get the menu to adjust precision etc... Is there a fix??

This used to be one of my favorite and most used apps for work. I just upgraded to a Galaxy S7 and the 'Menu' key is missing! I've tried contacting the developer and the email address is no longer working. Anyone have any idea how to contact the developer, or how to fix this problem? If not, can someone recommend another app that does the same thing?... :-/

Love it. I calculate times a lot and this really makes it easy. You need to learn how to use it though. When I first started was doing the time addition wrong and got bad results. Once I figured out how to us it, works like a charm.

It won't work. Ill try to add it and it always says 5.0 each time. Very annoying and when it does work for time it says like 38:56 woch also don't follow military time. Definitely needs tweeking.

App is great, so far. For those wondering where the settings menu is, after experimenting, I found it by holding down the "Back Button" which is to the right of the home button on my GS6 Edge+.

I used to love this app. Was never wrong. Now all it does is give the wrong time. It doesn't even calibrate the right way. Please fix this app case I haven't found another like this.

It helps me on my job.. good app.. if you guys are having trouble on the results..change its settings to (hh:mm:ss)..it will result like 1:20:00,that way its more accurate.. not like the default results of 1.2 or 2.4 or something

It functions so different from a regular calculator that I can't use it effectively to just simply add up my hours for the week

This app is exactly what I was looking for -- a way to calculate the amount of time between time A and time B. I didn't want to have to enter date information. This app does exactly what I need it to do and it makes it easy for me. Love it!!!!

This is unusable for what I need. The entry of data is not intuitive, and the app is full of bugs. I wanted something to calculate my score on a rally score card: OutTime - InTime = ElapsedTime, then ElapsedTime - OfficialTime = Error. I could not do this.

I needed a calculator for helping me add up my time sheet totals every few weeks and this app was easy and effective. I also like the exact decimal time amounts out gives you.

Does exactly what I ask of it, I need to calculate elapsed time as an important part of my job and this had yet to fail me, top quality

@Lucas: if you haven't changed the precision, 9h45m = 9.75h ~ 9.8h is the correct answer... what did you think the answer should be?

Rounds to the nearest tenth _ you can't subtract time and it assumes your a full day if u don't specify pm or am _ not very practical if you are using it to calculate your hours for work

This app worked great on my Motorola phone but now I have an LG3 phone and the menu settings option is not available.

Not fully functional. Gives wrong numbers. 8.05 PM to 6.23AM makes 14 hours as per calculator!!! Really!!

Perfect for verifying payroll hours. Using this helps me keep exact records. I am terrible with decimal/conversions and math in general. This app makes it easy.

As a previous poster commented the app is inaccurate. Their review made me wonder if it was because the app does tenths of an hour and that is why they were unable to get 9.25. However my own test fared no better. 0515 - 1330 is 8hr 15mins or 8.3 using a tenths of an hour chart. The app stated it was 8.2 use with caution and double check your work.

Been using this app for over 3 years now (I work in public transportation) and never had any inaccuracies when calculating time. I see some ppl are complaining about lack of a menu button, if your on a new Samsung device press and hold what used to be the menu button on the phone itself and the app menu comes up. You can also adjust how many places after decimal displays for those of you saying it's rounding time.

Since I got the Samsung s5 there is no settings. I have Always used.this app and now I can't get.to settings. Once.it's fixed I will redownload

Automatically add the : symbol when punching the hours

I am having the same problem as a previous reviewer in the app is displaying the the elapsed time in a decimal format and not in hours/minutes. I do not see a "menu" button to change to time format. Please help!!

I loved this app but now I can't change the format to show hh:mm:ss. It calculates in some type of crazy numbers...PLEASE FIX!!!

Very cumbersome user interface. Does not display a distinction between duration and time of day (ie, clock time). Cannot calculate duration across a midnight boundary. Uninstalled.

Just what I was looking for. Would love to see an undo function... maybe a way to see all the times in the equation ?

User interface is far too complex for the basic function it is designed to do.

Great app! Thanks for making and sharing. Im a flyer and needed a quick way to add up flight times and this does it nicely. No fault of the program, but my organization breaks down the tenths of an hour slightly differently, so I just use the min and convert myself. Only change I would make is add option for military time format so the : doesnt have to be added between hours & min. Overall excellent program - made my life much easier! Thanks again!

This is the best app hands down for time calculations. It is so easy my son could do my time card.... :) Side note - could we get a chrome ext built for this please? :D

Exactly what I needed. My place of work doesnt have an automated system and this is going to make counting the hours much faster and much more precise.

Works like a charm. Excellent when calculate working hours.

Other app shows 23:00 to 01:00 is 22 hours but this apps shows 2 hours.
