It let me enter my data initially and then started crashing. It won't even let me open it up now. Too bad. Looks like a great tool. I downloaded another app instead

by S####:

I was able to get in when first downloaded. Then it crashed and would not load up at all after that.

I like the app and it was working fine a few weeks ago. Walked away from it while in hospital. Now it won't sync right and keeps asking to log in eventhough it has my correct profile information. Would be awesome if it worked right. If I put info in it forces closed. Guess I'll just stick with the website until the app works again.

I was looking for an app to track my symtoms, and I tried this one. The only flaw is that it doesn't really give you the results on what gives you flare- ups and such. It's also hard to control too. MySymptoms is WAY better. It took me a little while to figure out how to operate it, but now it works like a charm.

S70%
by S####:

Too many bugs and keeps crashing when trying to log meals. Also keeps logging me out, not syncing and often stores info out of date/time order. Mysymptoms is much better, easier to use, and much less frustrating.

by S####:

App will not allow me to log in, when info is correct.

Most of the foods I eat aren't even the database like bacon, toast, white rice. Need an app with more choices as this is a diary i need to be able to submit to my dr.

Won't save entries or log in. Generally unusable

S70%

The is a great app, the last update was 7/15. And there are bugs that need attending to.

Entering meals is impossible

Great idea but won't connect to my server after successive attempts. Cannot log in at all.

by F####:

Ok, when it's working it's great, but lots of issues... Newest problem is logs for January are at the bottom of the list (all I see is december) and if I scroll more than a week back if freezes, stools working and the app closes

Good idea. But it doesn't work very well. :( it doesn't sync between my phone and the computer. Nor can I export reports from my phone to my email. There's a few other little bugs, but these two have the greatest impact for me. This app would be incredibly amazing if those little things could be fixed.

Used this app everyday but it suddenly won't connect anymore. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Using a galaxy s4.

Just got the app, and started putting in my info. And it keeps force closing on me. I really liked the idea of this app. Y'all need to fix it please.

I got this five days ago, because I was having major problems and started a very strict diet. I told Google to save the password so I just clicked the app and entered. I had four days of info, meals etc and just went to log in to write more and it wanted me to login and it didn't like the password and so I followed the reset instructions (twice ) but still won't let me in again. Most unhappy. Going to get a paper notebook and see what I can remember:( Correction. I was using wrong login ID.

Good App but it doesn't sync my data on my Moto X Droid to the website database. Also, I cannot sent reports from my phone.

It's as useful as sandpaper on your backside. I'm sure you have had that sensation. Avoid this garbage

I was very happy with this app until it stopped opening. Now I cannot track anything, I'm newly diagnosed with UC and having a hard time, this app was helping....

M70%

The problem I'm having it that it won't let me reply to people's posts or make my own post. Otherwise so far so good.

I installed the update to the app and now I can't use it. After the initial update the app would never give me the login screen. After uninstall and reinstall the app won't recognize my id and password. Same id/password works on the website. Please fix soon. Really like this app when it works.

Would be even better if i could add all my medication (even not for chron's) and add dates for blood tests and doctors appts. Apart from that it's really helpful and makes monitoring my symptoms for my specialist easy and accurate

Thank you CCFA for releasing such a valuable tool! Fantastic organization and one of the only names I would ever trust with this info. (Similar apps from 3rd parties are NOT HIPPA COMPLIANT!!!). Unfortunately there is a 5+ sec delay open some menus, overall performance would make a Sloth lose patience. Good start but execution not up to snuff yet .

Love the idea, but too many bugs. It keeps telling me "unfortunately this app has stopped" when I am trying to enter my diet for the day. Please fix!

App is huge help in theory, but doesn't work right. Cannot edit any entries and medications will not open to edit or make notes. Expected better...so disappointed.

After logging for 2 days the app would no longer open. Had to uninstall. Lost all my data.

The app is between useless and unusable. Since it demands to phone home before it will open instead of taking the information and sending it when wifi is available you may as well use the website. Since it rarely syncs up with the website it makes no sense for it to ever phone home. Since you can't get reports from the app and can't see what has been recorded in the app you may as well not use the app. The idea with the website is great and helped me find a trigger food. The idea on portable devices so you can log an event when it happens and the time is now rather than having to do a million clicks for each and every detail like the website requires is great. The implementation on both leaves a lot to be desired. Fix the app or make the website more user friendly. Until then (don't hold your breath) take notes and plod through the website when possible.

This would be a great app if it operated properly. It worked good for a couple weeks the it started freezing every time I tried to add a meal. A message would appear "sorry, GI Buddy has stopped working". I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but when I signed in only two days of entries was there (I had three weeks of entries submitted). I went on the desktop and signed in and none of my entries were there! I am moving on and trying a different app.

the biggest issue I had was that it doesn't track your bm.

Good concept. But kept crashing when I tried to log food. And it was annoying to read that nothing had been logged when I just successfully saved everything. And whenever you had to switch to a new topic to log something you had to almost exit all the way out of it just to select the topic. That got annoying pretty fast.

This app has potential. It needs to sync with the Web application. It crashes when I try to look at favorite foods and recent foods. The favorite foods are not alphabetized. The USDA search always returns baby food..why? And doesn't have some basics produce.

Syncing with desktop application doesn't always work. Quick way to note things when mobile though.

It's great app. It's even better when combined with NearestToilet app.
