Muscular System - 3D Anatomy for Android
This app has the best looking 3D models I've seen in any program but it would be far more useful if it had more positions than one for every part of the body. For example, arms are only shown in supination. An arm in pronation and neutral positions to show how the muscles shift and change would be extremely useful. Also a leg bent at the knee in flexion would be great. Lastly, I haven't found an option to flip the models from left to right. Would be a great and presumably easy addition.
A wonderful app, but I am so so disappointed that there arent any German translations for muscles' names (It worked brilliantly in the Lite version, so maybe I'm doing sth wrong?).
...badly needs an "isolate" button/function.
Amazing App
Yes it's true Origin, Insertion and Action are missing at this point, but it's not all negative, because this application have the potential to be the king of muscular anatomy once everything's fleshed out. One thing that the developers did right for sure is the inclusion of "Pins", especially to the skeletal system. It points out the fossas, tuberosities and processes etc... This is something which lacks in most anatomy apps , even in the well known ones such as VisibleBody. Also the visuals are easily THE BEST out of all apps. I ended up paying for this app because I want to support the developers to continue to work on this. It has so much potential and I hope you guys don't give up. Obvious suggestion for future update would be 1.) Add Origin, Insertion and Action, info/detail option 2.) Give option to replace the pins with actual words (like an actual diagram) 3.) a full body view 4.) Search Function 5.) Colour distinction of different parts 6.) Fading of parts 7.) Give option to select multiple pins and hide pins. Once these options are implemented, this will be a 5/5 star application for sure.
The only thing I wish it had was a self quiz to help like another app but other than that it is similar to a real skeleton which helps when I study for lab practicals. And love how it has all the features that's in my anatomy book. It's just more convenient on my phone than carrying a huge heavy book. Please add quiz urself quizzes :) this app in my opinion is worth buying.
I will agree this is a great app. for studying anatomy and kinesiology too. My only problem is when you are viewing the torso - it LAGS so much it's a pain to rotate and zoom in. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM is that it doesn't have a feature to "HIDE UNSELECTED"., which would help out in the lag problem above. Yes you can double tap a selected muscle or bone and it hides everything else around it but IT DOES NOT WORK in the TORSO area. It only works for arms, legs, and head. It may be due to the lag but I wish it worked for the torso as well. Suggestions to developer - Add a "Hide Unselected" button - Add Origin and Insertion of muscles (some muscles have origin only and not all muscles have it) Otherwise a good app.
The muscles are all grey, can't see anything Edit: Thank you, your solution has worked. ALSO, after the latest update, I have found many of the features very convenient and helpful. Deserve the 5 stars:)
Real good although some origins and insertions are missing. This app would beneficial a lot from an option to add muscles to an isolated view (eg: to see all two or three glutes, antagonists, etc.) and a Search button to type the name in. Plus a full list of the muscles/bones (all body, and/or by limb, alphabet, etc.) Keep up the good work guys!
I love how detailed the musculature and boney landmarks are. However, I wish that more information was listed. Something such as origin and insertion for each muscle. Maybe the action, how to stretch if you're aware of reciprocal inhibition perhaps. It would be helpful to me as a massage therapy student. Hopeful updates?
You see a loading page, and then get a grey selection screen for head, upper limbs, lower etc. You click on one then it changes to a totally grey screen with nothing. Please let me know what I can do to operate the software. Thanks
There no full view. Only regions. Skull is single part model so diffirent bones can't be viewed. I'm dissapointed.
There are some mistakes in this app plus there is no further information than the names of the muscles to learn from it.
Complimenti, è molto dettagliata, i modelli sono spettacolari. Spero in altre vostre app in futuro. Ho notato però 2 problemini, la sensibilità al pan ed allo zoom è troppo bassa e la lingua secondaria si resetta ogni volta che riapro l'app.

Hands down the best modeling of any app I've tried. Masterfully done. These guys are to 3d anatomy apps what Albinus is to anatomy illustration. My gripe with this is the lack of viewing options. It would be really nice, for instance, to be able to view the entire body on one screen, instead of only by parts. It would also be good to be able to view both sides with full musculature.
