About Inputting Plus: Ctrl + Z/F/C/V

It's 2016. Can you believe there is still no undo(ctrl+z), redo(ctrl+y), find & replace(ctrl+f) when inputting on a touchscreen? Fortunately, Inputting+ can handle this.

************

- Lifehacker: Inputting+ helps by bringing some key features, including undo, redo, and find and replace as easy as a desktop.

- The Next Web: I found Inputting+ to be useful when commenting on Reddit, sending a message on Facebook and adding notes to Google Keep. I also like how customizable it is.

- Android Police: If you have ever had an app crash or accidental button press make you lose something you've written, I won't need to convince you that this new app is worth a shot.
Very material stuff here. The developer definitely knocked the animations out of the park.

************

Inputting Notification

Inputting+'s notification will automatically appear when typing. It can help you undo, redo, find & replace text, just like ctrl+z, ctrl+f, ctrl+c, ctrl+v on computer. And even quick insert clipboard history!
Due to system limitations, inputting texts in WebView(such as Google Chrome) are not supported yet.

Inputting Timeline

Have you ever got a moment that you lost something very important in case of the app crash or network connection failure? Inputting Timeline can automatically collect all texts you typed in other apps to a simple timeline. You can check out the text at each moments and copy it. You wont lose it again.

Permissions Usage:

USE_FINGERPRINT: Use fingerprint instead of PIN lock.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Start service at start up.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW and BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE: For showing floating bubble.
COM.ANDROID.VENDING.BILLING: For in app purchase.

by B####:

In works great and does exactly what it claims. Provides a much easier way to input text. Very responsive to feedback and updates.

R70%
by R####:

Please add grammar check, define and synonyms as it'll make editing more efficient. Synchronize it with Clip Stack as now using both has bugs as can't copy 100% from clip stack to inputting plus

R70%
by R####:

Short time using app,so 4 stars until more time spent with it....

R70%
by R####:

Input history seems to get merged across apps instead of being separate. UI could use some refinement. Decent if you're typing in a single app and want to be able to undo a few steps.

P70%
by P####:

I'd rate it lower but giving it the benefit of the doubt. ―― I can't get it to record all of all of my editing more than rarely. [Me: LL-5.0.1]

R70%
by R####:

You have to wonder what Google is thinking when a 3rd party needs to create an application to perform something as basic as "undo". This app does what it says, it adds some handy basic text features to almost any application.

E70%
by E####:

Thanks thanks thanks! I had composed a long email on my phone which vanished from my drafts folder when I opened it on the desktop. It was all safely locked away here.

K70%

Can't hide that small blue circle. Very annoying...time to get rid of!

R70%

For editing text, comes in really handy on a chrome book.

R70%

If you have clip stack, also from this developer it opens it when you touch the clipboard button.

E70%

Please try and add this UI to clip stack

You know like the iPhone when you shake the device it understand that you want to undo.

But it seem to be delaying my inputs.

I adore this app. Mostly because my htc M8 is on its last leg and keeps resetting all of my app's permissions - except this one and two others. Inputting+ reliably starts up with a phone reboot, and since I don't use the bubble (it shows itself as being active in the notification window), I only know it's there when I think to use it. Yesterday, I sent an email to a group of co-workers that (apparently) didn't make it out of the email app. Wasn't saved as a draft, and wasn't shown as having sent. I found the full text in Inputting+. Saved my skin. I didn't even use Inputting+ for that message. It keeps an eye on everything that's typed. Genius.

On my GS7E, I get severe lag after just a few back and forth text messages or after a few short paragraphs. Happens on all the different keyboards I've tried - Samsung, Google, and MultiLing. Once I disable the service, lag disappears completely. I used one other app together at the same time - Clip Stack. This lag happens on my GS6E and GS7E but not on my Nexus 5X.

I used to use this app all the time, but recently it stopped working inside of Gmail. That's the most common app used for typing in the while world! Gmail has one billion users, so it's pretty important for this after work with it, but for some reason recently it doesn't.

Trying the floating bubble as I already have to many notifications already. The editor mode is already very handy, especially for small text boxes like on messenger and many others even Google Play. Seems to be a better experience. Does not work in Goggle Inbox (email app). That's a pretty big drawback.

R70%
by R####:

I like how this app works in general. One thing I feel you could do is make it easier to add apps to the blacklist by creating an "exclude this app" option directly on the main page for each instance of copied text. This is easier than having to wait for all the apps to load in the settings (especially if you have a lot of apps) each time I remember an app I want to exclude. The other issue is it sometimes seems to cause lagging while typing hence the need to exclude many apps.

S70%
by S####:

Makes life so much easier. I hate the little tiny input boxes where you can only see two lines of your typing, like on messenger. This solves that!!! Plus a full editing function as a bonus lol

R70%
by R####:

And here I am wondering how on Earth was I ever able to use my phone for so long without this app. A mere five minutes using it and I already feel I can't live without it. A must.

R70%
by R####:

Used it for a few days then suddenly it stopped working. The floating bubble works but I'd rather have the notification. But it never comes up anymore. What happened??

R70%
by R####:

Using a OnePlus 3 on stock Nougat, the bubble function no longer works. I've emailed the dev, but over a week without reply or update. Will amend review if the issue is fixed. Otherwise, it's a fantastic application.

R70%
by R####:

This app in combination with clip stack makes sure that there is no chance that something you are writing doesn't accidentally get lost if something crashes.

Y70%
by Y####:

Great app. Just bought it. BUT it's not working properly on 7.1 (bubble disappears, flicks...) and it eats a lot of ram (more than 300mb) which makes phone lag :(. Please fix. Thanks.

J70%
by J####:

Love how I can replace words. Easy for many copy paste messages. I would recommend this for everyone. Only one request. Is there anyway that I can fix the position of bubble when my phone orientation changes?

R70%
by R####:

In accessibility options, it says an app is obscuring the settings request so it cannot verify my request. Non-starter.

R70%
by R####:

If Samsung didnt implement undo and dictionary as I type soon, more ppl will switch back to iOS

R70%
by R####:

it's an amazing function and a must have for every phone :) thank you for such amazing efforts =) it's only one issue .. iam using Huawei p8 lite and every now and then i have to go check if the inputting is enable in the accessibility or not because it kinda turn off somtimes .. however thaaaank you so much for this amazing free useful app .. thank you

R70%
by R####:

A wonderful and unique app. Totally worth the money. However, the bubble offered as an alternative to notification in the notification panel talks to display correctly (unlike Clip Stack by the same Dev) - it flashes on and off and doesn't respond to the user input. Hence 4 stars.

B70%
by B####:

this update, with the addition of the notification style inputting option, is a big improvement over the floating bubble (that was somehow floating exactly where one's finger needed to go). thank you!
