PE for Android
App has finally been fixed. Now great to use. Thanks
I can now download and read the content.
Excellent since the updates. Now available offline, works consistently and has the excellent content that's in the magazine. Well done for sorting things out!
This app is not working for me at all on Android 7. The home screen loads article titles as plain hyperlinks with no formatting or imagery and the articles themselves don't load (at least not in a reasonable amount of time).
Exact same issues as Chris Rowley. Blank pages with hyperlinks and nothing loading. 3 months later and no-one fixed it. Better withdraw the app if it's not going to be maintained.
Worst app I have ever downloaded. None of the content actually loads. A list of hyperlinks only. Expected much better from IMechE. Uninstalling
Literally just a few blue hyperlinks in plain text, half of which are obscured by the menu interface anyway. Pretty shambolic!
Content still does not load on my android device, shame because on my old S5 this was a great app, with very well written and informative articles
A very poor app.. Crashes frequently and doesn't show content.
Doesn't work. Text links to blank pages
The app has nothing but hyperlinks. No pictures and nothing works. Great concept bad execution
All round fairly poor app, hoped for better from IMechE
The application is in just basic html format with just hyperlink
Needs to be fixed
Nothing loads
Unfortunately the app is very slow and freezes after a while. It would be better just to have a text version of the magazine without any graphics, with good hyperlinks to the article sponsors and authors' websites with a simple to use index and search tool.

Since the last update i can't open the app because it keeps force closing
Will not run on Nexus 7 and keeps crashing. I have lost patience with it
Was good on launch. No longer works (after the update). Please fix this so I can us it again!
Very nice design and great way to read the magazine but needs notifications for new news and the option to store the app and it's data on an sd card is essential but non existent.
Good when it works but unstable, now always crashes on startup after the most recent update!
Keeps hanging on update
Won't get beyond splash screen following latest upgrade
IMechE app for professional engineer.
When going back from an article to the main screen, instead of going all the way back to the top, an anchor is needed so we don't have to scroll all the way back down again.
Content sometimes downloads, sometimes doesn't. Application does not run on my hudl2.
Won't run for more than a minute since the update. Just crashes out, making it pretty unusable. Uk vodafone Sony xperia z3 on 5.1.1
2 minute download then crashes 100%. ---> OK now after deinstall & reinstall :-)
Worked fine when first installed but has been terrible since its last update. Shame really. Might need a clean uninstall/reinstall.
Crashes every time when downloading new content / unpacking. Installed on a LG G Pad 8.3 tablet.
The application now crashes when checking for new content
App force closes on startup. Not actually seen it working.
The app is not very smooth, luckily it is still usable. Hopefully the next update will fix this problem.
Lots of good content, looks like downloaded in compressed format and then unpacked on demand. This makes it a little slow, but a very good first effort. Pleased!
Nice layout, clear text, quick navigation after it's downloaded the magazine. No need to log in so might work offline.
If you really want to know about engineering advancements, this is the app to have
Layout is attractive and accessible. Print quite small.

No content loads, just plain text hyperlinks from menus that lead to black pages. Not great reflection on an engineering institution! Nexus 5x.
