About Shooting Solution

Shooting Solution is an accurate, easy to use ballistics calculator. It utilizes a simple main interface, but includes more advanced features, such as table creation and graphing. Environmental conditions, which can be updated based on GPS location or latitude/longitude, are accounted for in the calculations.

Features:

- Save multiple firearm profiles and custom ammo

- Import/export saved profiles and ammo (exports as profiles_exported.cvs or ammo_exported.csv)

- Includes a built-in ammo database of over 1400 rounds

- Generate and email a table of calculated shot data

- View drop graphs and compare ammo

- Accuracy verified by comparing drop to bullet manufacturers' published data

- Simple touch input for setting wind direction

- Supports imperial and metric units

** Tips **

- Before using the calculator for the first time, zero the default firearm profile or create a new one

- Negative drop means the bullet impacts below the aim point

- Negative drift means the bullet impacts to the left of the aim point

- Create new firearm profiles from the main menu or by clicking the plus icon in the action bar

- To use MOA in the table, select MOA as the output units on the main screen

A really useful, compact app. Would like the ability to customise all data fields, though. As an Aussie, happy to use most imperial data, but our ranges are in metres and we all use FPS and inches (for group size/shot placement). Keep up the great work!

Trouble using the app free version worked better

Plugged all the info in went to the range and at 430 yards (27 clicks on my scope) I was shooting about 8" hight. Got Strelok Pro app plugged in the same info plus the few extra it asks for gave me a 20 click adjustment which had me dead on.

I'm a U.S. ARMY Vet. Have used several app calculators in the past. This is the best one yet. It deserves 5 stars. Now; Don't get your hopes up, there is much more involved to take a totally accurate shot using an electronic device, transferring it to an imperfect round, rifle, imperfect shooter,..exc..,But this is as good as it gets. Really. The type snipers use factor in things like humidity, and like 4 other factors. Costs thousands! This one will get you in the kill zone, fer sure.

Does a good job seems to be accurate when you plug in a custom round if you have the B.C. and muzzle velocity wish it had a G7 mode and could calculate spin drift

Easy to use. Not overly complicated. That's good. Would love to see custom load data option for us reloaders. Try it, you will like it.

This is a great app for predicting the horizontal displacement of a bullet. You may need to look up the ballistics coefficient for your particular round. The bullet diameter doesn't seem to effect the predicted trajectory so the calculations must come from the ballistics coefficient.

Z70%
by Z####:

Only thing that i wish this had is that you could put in your own custom load data for people that reload there own ammo that would be awesome but this app is good id get it if you shoot long range or have a mil dot scope

Y70%

Needs pistol ammo and calculations for fixed sights.

I compared this apps' calculated results with the published ballistics for Remingtom brand 30-06 rounds from Remington's website and found this app's results to be dang near the same. Needs more Hornady ammo, but they can be added as a profile and/or "User Saved" data. I don't understand the shoot angle input as it doesn't seem to work properly the generated table.

Exactly what I was looking for This is a great app for predicting the horizontal displacement of a bullet. The ammo list is limited so you may need to look up the ballistics coefficient for your particular round. The bullet diameter doesn't seem to effect the predicted trajectory so the calculations must come from the ballistics coefficient.
