In the industry, the PLC is the most important device because of is role, it's the responsible of all the process in the automatization industry, in other words is the brain. But this brain doesn't work if there's no tasks to do, so the PLC need some kind of code or language that it understand in order to do some tasks.
One of the languages that the PLC understand is the Ladder Diagram, this is a graphic language that represents the logic of relay circuits.
PLC Ladder Simulator is a simulator for the Android OS with input and output objects that simulates the I/O port of a real PLC. You can create your designs with the basic components of a ladder diagram, which are three: normally open gate (N.O.), normally closed gate (N.C.), coil and much more.
PLC Ladder Simulator features an unique option available in the world and it's the possibility of program an Arduino board with a ladder design using an Android phone. So actually what it does is that transforms an Arduino into a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). The app writes a code into the Arduino by using an USB OTG cable.
The Arduino mode it's compatible with the Arduino UNO (atmega328).
Note: This app doesn't work in tablets, only for Android phones, you can try it if you want to.
It doesn't work in some Samsung Galaxy Tab 4.
To ensure the possibility that the app works on your device, follow the example in the video tutorial.

I cannot add the output coil as NO point in the rung or sub rung to create the latch effect. Please solve it. Every time have to use virtual bit to do so and then use this virtual bit to turn on the output .

I've been using the app for about 3 weeks and I am enjoying it quite a lot. There have been bugs recently but the developer is quick to respond to any issues. This is by far the best app on Google play for designing ladder logic. Be patient and you will be rewarded greatly. I bought the pro version because I believe in supporting the development of apps, especially ones like this ... And I hate ads!
