About Fret Master FREE
The ability to quickly find any note or octave on the guitar fretboard is a vital tool for every serious guitarist. This skill will allow you to better understand the music you are playing and it will allow you to transcribe that music to any position on the guitar fretboard. Knowing where all the notes are on the fretboard will also make it easier to apply standard music notation to the guitar and communicate with other musicians. A better understanding of the guitar fretboard will also give you the foundation for improvising new chord voicings or lead riffs.
The good news is that learning and remembering the notes on the fretboard isn't hard and it only takes a few minutes a day to add this skill to your guitar arsenal or sharpen your reflexes to find notes more quickly. This app will provide you with lessons, quizzes, and advice to help you learn, remember, and quickly find the notes on the guitar fretboard.

Good for learning notes on fretboard. My problem with it is that there is a pronounced delay to when you touch a note on the fretboard and when you actually bear the note. Sometimes you don't even hear the note at all. Then you have to keep pressing until you do hear the note. Very annoying.

Great app but it won't let me select the option to upgrade to the paid version...... Also some of the options are difficult to select - you have to keep pressing the buttons until it registers.

This app is an absolute must have whether you are learning by yourself or using a tutor. Learning where the notes are on the fretboard is the one thing you need to know. Once you remember where they are located your guitar playing ability will greatly enhanced.

I'm a beginner guitarist that has always wanted to learn the fretboard fully. I learned so much about the notes and the fretboard in just the first 10 minutes of messing around on it. I can find out how many times each note repeats on one string or the entire fretboard. I can single out specific notes I'm looking for with easy to use functions for people like me who have a difficult time with using technology! I can definitely use this to help remember my scales and easily make riffs to practice.
