Update: Caribou released an app update which fixed all issues I experienced with Oreo. Previous: Loved the app for months and used it fairly frequently. Since upgrading to Oreo, it will not open past the logo on my Moto Z Force. From the other reviews, seems like it might be an Oreo compatibility issue

This is a pretty good loyalty program. I go to caribou a few times a week and get a "perk" once a week.

App seems like it'll work just fine as far as reloading and taking my money but as stated by an earlier review; there is no free medium coffee perk like the signs in the shop state. I can get a free medium coffee if I buy a pound of coffee..... within 24 hours. By the time I get into the shop again, it'll be past 24 hours. Was hoping it would be similar to my Starbucks all but honestly the Starbucks app is better and much easier to use. I like Caribou Coffee better than Starbucks but for ease of use I'll stick with the other, such a shame.

First month of having this app was fine. It worked, had some content and scaling issues, but worked. For the past month the app will not get past the logo, and so I cannot use the app. I have wiped the cache, wiped the data, and even done a full reinstall, but still the app hangs at the logo screen. It appears that this issue is also not unique to me, as I see a flood of this in the comments. At this point in time I would not be able to recommend this app to anyone.

Doesn't work 90% of the time on my Nexus 6P using Android Oreo. Sometimes the app will refuse to start and just get stuck on the logo. Rotating the screen to reveal my Perks bar code no longer works. When the screen does manage to rotate, the code doesn't load. Tried clearing Data/Cache and uninstalling the app completely - Along with phone reboots.

Stick to coffee. Your app is terrible. Either your programmers have no idea how to program, or you intentionally make the perks lie. 3 times now I have gone in because my app says I have a perk. Once I get to the store I find out I don't have a perk. It isn't the end of the world, but it does make you look like a joke. Combine that with the cheaper ingredients you've gone to over the last couple years, and the higher prices you keep charging and I have to ask. What separates you from ever other boring, greedy coffee shop?

I really do like the app. However have a large problem with it recently. I have a Google pixel phone and after adding my $20 gift card to my perks card to use it is not work. Says I have twenty dollars but everytime I go to check out they can not get the transaction to work from my phone. Worried I just lost twenty dollars that I can't get back off now. So much easier to pay from my phone that is always with me then remembering where my gift cards are but not if it takes your money and you get no coffee :(

Crashes, freezes and has annoying pop-up overlays. Auto reload of funds no longer works. (Update: auto pay still doesn't work even after their response that it was fixed. Broke a few versions ago.)

I have had a perks card for years. There is no way to use this app because it keeps telling me that my cell is already in use. Well, duh, it's me. I would like you to fix this.

I've never seen an app crash more. Every time I've used it for 14 months, which is almost everyday

I love this app, i love my caribou perks. App works really well, I've had this app for two years or so and havent had any problems.

Great app, they always give away complimentary drinks, size up grades and 2 for 5 menu items! This app is a must have!

Love caribou but this app is not very reliable. Crashes alot. Then the scan code many times never actually shows up. Kinda making the app pointless for me edit: yes still get invisible barcodes. crashes appear to happen less frequently but still happens. Is there an alternative method I can email you on and maybe send you logs?

Sadly, other than check in and mobile pay, this app is not all that useful. If I want to look at the menu prior to visiting (to cut down on drive through wait time), this app doesn't give enough detail to bother. I'd have to go to the website to see the full menu. And I'd love to have the ability to do a mobile order like the other place we all know. Convenience is the name of the game!

I've had your app since it first launched. It was a good app. Other then a minor glitch where it would crash and reload every once in a while. But since the update where you combined the check-in and pay barcode. My check-in barcode doesn't work anymore. It comes up as an invalid card.

Attempted to create an account on the app. Had to fight through every step. My birthday month didn't show up. It kept putting the wrong year in for my birthday. It wouldn't scroll and display all fields. Refuse to let me enter a gift card. And at the end it reported an unexpected error and refused to create the account

Had a perk for size upgrade and cashier couldn't figure it out. She entered my phone number, scanned the bar code and still didn't show the perk. I showed it to her on my app. I ended up paying regular price!

Great for checking in and checking out menu items ahead of time. Sometimes it crashes, but it hasn't happened enough to become a huge issue for me. The app has a lot of potential moving forward and I'm excited to see what the devs do!

Updated the app and just before driving to caribou but the new update won't let me access my funds now. My account balance keeps saying error. I was really looking forward to getting an campfire iced latte today, too!

I like the app; but it crashes a lot. It doesn't open when I try to use it at the store. When I use my phone number at the store as I have too the barristas say that I have 2 accounts. I wonder if I lost perks. Can these accounts be combined?

It's pretty good. But it does tend to crash often, so make sure you bring it up well before you go to order (if you are paying from the app). I'm surprised they didn't have the ability to order remotely and just pick up at the store. Other than those two things, the app does what I expect it to do.

I hate that this app only lets you add $20 as the smallest amount to your card. Starbucks lets you add $10 as the smallest amount to your card. Many times I go there because I can add $10 and still get rewards. Also some of the Einstein/Caribou places don't accept the Caribou app check-in, so I miss out on alot of rewards. I just end up going to the Starbucks across the street for this reason.

I have had this app for awhile. Other than the app sometimes taking a few extra seconds to load, I haven't had any problems with it. I love going on the menu items and playing around with the ingredients to see how the calories change.

Love love love the coffee, but I get emails that I have perks but they don't show up in the app. Frustrating because I check my app more than my email

I have been trying for 3 days to get barcode to show up. I liked the one day that I did have a single barcode. My physical card is too old to work. I have $ in Caribou account and can't use it.

Great for finding location, menu, and a loyalty system called Perks. Also the ability to have money loaded on their card for use at the stores. It could be a 5 star, but it's real hard to give any app a full 5 star.

Sometime app crashes and can't get back up. Sometimes barcode for purchases doesn't show up. Other than that when working easy to use.

I love it. The only thing I would do to improve it is to see my points as I accrue them, so I would know how far I have to go to get my next prize.

I don't really like coffee, but the way that Caribou makes their "hot, cold, & blended" specialty drinks. I still don't like coffee but I love there specialty drinks!

Update broke the app. No Barcode shows up.

Employees have never been able to scan the payment barcode. Now I have a balance that I will probably never be able to use.

And I get and email telling me that I have a coupon for something off of a medium or large drink. But in the app it only shows the medium drink deal.
