CarGurus for Android
I had to look for a car in a pinch because someone backed into my previous one to the point where it passed the threshold to fix. I found my Hyundai through Car Gurus in a fast time period. I would probably recommend others to use this app.
This is my favorite app to search for cars. It has the most useful information easily available. But I can't stand that it won't let you look at the pictures in full screen or zoom in on them! Very frustrating on an otherwise perfect app.
I love it, its easy, fast, I saw it online and downloaded and now I can get great prices for cars. It twlls me if it over priced or a good deal or average. Over all it amazing keep doing what you do.
The app is underdeveloped in my opinion. While it does what you need it to do, there are small inconveniences that I can't look past. One in particular is the 'sort by' option. When selected it doesn't actually sort. I often sort by distance from closest to farthest and it just doesn't work... Otherwise its a very minimalistic yet practical app that works well though you may find the website to be just as, if not more useful.
Great app. I use it all the time. I look for supercars I'll eventually own or everyday cars I'm curious in. ONLY THING THAT SHOULD BE CHANGED is that you cannot Open the pics of cars in the app. Please please add this feature and it'll be a 5/5 app.
The app gets the job done- but with frustration. The most annoying thing is if you don't have a particular car in mind then you're limited in your search options. No make/model preference but just want something over a certain year? Sorry, instead look at every single car listed! On a positive note I haven't had the close out issues others have experienced though.
It's easy to find your next car with this app. Lots of search criteria to work from. However, reviewing the list is really frustrating. It downloads the results ... everything and while your ready to click on something from the last time you looked at the list, it's changing the display to the updated list. Another burr in my butt is the lack of clean integration with Google maps app. Instead, it goes to the browser and searches for directions through the app's window.
Always says having trouble reaching the server. I suggest using the website instead of the app
On the website you can sign in with your Google account, but not in the Android app, it only has the Facebook option. Reported to customer service and I hear crickets! Frustrated with advanced search because it's not a primary option.
IT USED TO BE A GOOD APP BUT NOT ANYMORE ALLS IT DOES IS FORCE CLOSE. IT'S GARBAGE
Website has Google Account sign on this app does not. I am not creating two separate accounts.
Just an all-around poorly designed and coded app. Hope you don't want to filter results after you've clicked on a dealer, because you can't filter any cars once you actually click on a dealership. Oh, and the filter on the dealership page? Yeah, it doesn't actually filter out cars. It just shows you how many cars that match your filter that dealership has. Once you click on a dealership, it shows you all of their cars that you searched for. Does not take your filter into account. Oh, you want to sort by something other than ascending price? No. You don't. Apparently. Because that's the default and only way to view your cars. Besides these terrible design choices, the menu you can click on at the top right of glitchy as heck. If you don't scroll just right you might end up scrolling the car/dealership page behind the menu. Even once you do start scrolling the actual menu, the residual scrolling once you reach the bottom or top starts scrolling the page behind it again. C'mon, this is basic design and coding that you screwed up. Don't outsource your coding to the lowest bidder in India. And if this wasn't outsourced, get better... well, everyone. Better design/usability, better QA, better programmers, and better project managers, because what you have isn't cutting it.
Closes out completely randomly and often. Results get displayed, scroll through a few and closes. Start over. Same search, school through, see car, click and scroll through a couple pictures..closes. Will wait for an update as I liked the app when it was working, but for now is a one star app. Downloaded app again a few months. Had been working fine. Update yesterday, now can't click on vehicles and can't sort. Guess I'll be waiting for another update...again
I want to sell my car but the app keeps freezing on step 3 of the listing process.
Only major complaimt is that the photos cannot be zoomed in or even viewed at full screen. Serious issue when looking at cars because condition and pictures is everything on both the buying and selling end!
The app says I have 17 saved listings, but when I try to look at them it just takes me to its default listings, not the ones I saved. Annoying to go through and look at 300 cars, save some, but unable to pull up my saved list. Just a waste of time.
Nothing works at all. I can't click anything. Its all a white screen with blue letters.
For the last month or two when I open the app it just says unable to connect to server. On wifi, 4g, doesn't matter. Galaxy s6.
Lost all my saves. Still says I have 76 saves. But only pulls up random vehicles when I click the "saves" button. Very inconvenient
App is slow but at least they tell you under what's new that you have to wait longer to connection to server.
Trying to sell a car.Put all the info in twice and it just spins and says wait.????is ridiculous. No internet issues or nothing.
It says I have 48 saved listings but then random cars pop up.
Needed to contact support for some questions, they emailed me back so quickly and fixed the issue.
Can't zoom in on images. Basically a copy of their web site. Weak app development effort.
I like the app better than the website. Really wish i could open different vehicles in a new tab
Does not work for me! I plug in my zip code and it keeps telling me to provide a correct one.
I think it's an excellent app and helped my find my perfect vehicle for the best price. It has notifications of price drops of liked vehicles and new deals
Too many fake/bot responses, in selling on this app. 10 responses, 1 real.
Its a good app but it hasn't been working correctly please fix it
They updated it and now the app lags terribly.
Overall not bad but I wish three photos on tablet was bigger or has the option to open up in a light box mode
What happened to listing individual vehicles and not just by dealerships?
Definitely the best app for looking whatever vehicle you're looking. Only improvement would be to make the pictures where they can be zoomed in on.
The website browses cars in the US, but this app thinks I'm in Germany.
Can't even open the app. Use to be good. Don't know why you "fixed" it.
App is fine but why can I login with Google on the website (desktop and mobile) but not in the Android app????
Not enough option to filter your search.
Why Super cars cheap because are Clone .
good concept horrible app

This allowed me to go into a dealership almost "blind" on a car's value. I sat in different lying dealerships. Then, I sat down to buy a Honda Pilot. The guy was about to go into his sales pitch and I was already sold on the car thanks to this app. I got my vehicle for $1500 less than similar listings on here and I got more features. This app made for the best car buying experience I have ever had!
