CareFirst for Android
This app only provides a mobile version of the Carefirst website. It fails to provide easier access to services nor a more personalized care experience. It doesn't even keep you logged in so there is no point to installing the app over going to the website in your mobile browser. Wish there was some value add to this app, but as to now there isn't. No notifications, no tailored information to your plan, nor anything that makes the app worth the space on your device.
App does not allow me to log in at all, rendering it useless. When I give it my username the next screen (password entry) is all glitched out and will not allow me to enter my password. I'm using a Google Pixel.
App was perfect before. Now it won't allow me to pay my bill online through the app....fix that, and I'll resubmit my review.
The old app was convenient for online bill pay. That option is no longer available with the latest update. Please fix this feature.
What is the point of this app? If you can't pay your bill from the app, it is totally worthless! ZERO STARS!

When I try to submit a claim, every textbox doubles each letter I type, making it impossible to type. The backspace also erases random characters. It should be an easy fix and yet other people seem to be complaining about it too

After I log in, I can't do anything! All I get is a white blank screen.
Never downloaded my local providers (used FiOS WiFi network 50mbps). Claimed to provide medical doctor support 24/7 and can't find on. No support after 6pm. So I would have to call while commuting. Total experience is just another way for PPO to fleece those in need of medical attention. Detected Falsehood!
As a user I want to type my "Member ID" in the registration page. The textbox for member ID is coded wrongly as by entering every letter it copies all other letters from the left and past on the right of the letter. This makes hard for entering member ID. Please fix it on your next release. Thanks
Double types everything and when I correct it all it does is state that my member ID doesn't exist and to call customer service. Looks just like the mobile site
No link to pharmacy resources. Absolutely no point to this app without that. I only ever log in to this account to order prescription refills, and can't even do that on any mobile device.
Every letter I type is double typing. And every time i try to correct it deletes everything
This appears to just be a wrapper for the mobile site. There's no benefit to downloading. Waste of space.
Couldn't even log in.every letter I typed would double and once it got to 8 characters what ever I typed would loop itself.
Registration screen duplicates all entries and is unusable.

It's not that great that it needs to hog up room on your device.... It can't be moved to sd storage!!! So guess what, it gets deleted! !!!!
I just used this for the first time. Tried to pay my first month's premium, yeah right. Not with that tiny print. Logged on to the website on my phone. At least there I was able to expand the screen. Not an easy process though.
Could you have made the use of the app any easier? Need new user/pass? Fine but when you go to type it keeps auto completing with some unreadable crap (auto complete is turned off in my phone). Useless.
Provider search and cost estimator cannot find anything local. Its not that it doesn't exist. It just searches 30 miles away from me all of the time. Admittedly this may not be the apps fault as the website does the same silly thing

Where is the information on my Rx Drug coverage? I can't find the formulary or price info. And at the amount I am now paying for insurance I need that information at fingertips.
This app won't even let me log in, as it keeps auto filling my member ID number. With doubles of everything I type.
I can't believe you still haven't put bill pay on here. Absolutely useless without that feature.

They could have done so much more with it....what little they do have does work. No bill pay, no digital ID card, no claims info.
No bill pay? Seriously. You paid someone to develop an app with no bill pay? How could you be so short sighted? Disappointing.
This app tries and has some good info/functionality. It still needs a ton of work. Expect better from the company. Generally, Insurance providers are falling behind minimum standards expected and set by leading industries in many areas. With luck they will pick up the pace and begin to provide world class products like they did way back in the day.

Care first really needs to improve their online bill pay. It was pretty lousy trying to pay from the app to begin with (took you to the webpage which is not mobile friendly), now the feature isn't even available. In the very least, improve your online bill pay web page and make it mobile friendly so I don't have to zoom in to read what it says on the page!
