Full Description Download the free Cardless App on your phone, install it, register and begin scanning the back and front of your existing loyalty cards with your phone’s camera. Once all your cards are stored, you can manage your cards and earmark favourites for easy access. When you get to the cash register in-store, simply show your now-digital loyalty card and never miss out on reward points. If the cashier cannot scan your barcode, it’s a simple process to type in your membership number by hand.

No auto focus on pictures & the frame given to take pictures is bigger than what is actually taken so you end up cropping needed details on the card. This means multiple attempts needed for the photos to get it right.

App is stable - camera function & focus working. Understand that this still an early version of the app. Being a local app I would have liked to have the app automatically set the correct bar code standard for that merchant I choose from the list. App needs refinement (bug fixes) and more effort for South Africa, as similar international apps already do the exact same as Cardless.

Doesn't fit properly on screen. Very bad quality of app as well as camera. How would you get pick n pay or Edgar's to swipe your card if its on your phone???

Now if there is a list of stores, then surely when i select Makro from the pre-determined list, then a digital image of the makro card should be downloaded to the phone, then the extra details that make it my personal card could be entered. Would save taking a pic with your phone that like i said has no focus.

Lovely idea but honestly a app that feels bulky and in its current form doesn't really provide anything of value. I'd recommend working on the camera aspect, currently it's blurry and does nothing more than take a photo. Digital templates should be created and it should capture your membership number and if possible bar code from card and make a perfectly readable digital copy of the card.

Took me ten tries before I finally got a photo taken because the app was crashing every time. The images are very blurry. Can barely make out any of the numbers or text. I recommend auto cropping of the card after the pic was taken, as well as the ability to edit the image for better clarity. I would rather take a image with my normal camera app and then have the ability to load it in the app.

Crashes when you capture cards, image not focused. Create a barcode that the cashier can scan. At this stage I might as well take pictures of my cards and keep them in my gallery. Fix the bid first, then it will be a useful app.

Disappointing. Bad UX, list of stores supported is tiny. No camera focus and crashed as I tried to take a pic. Should generate its own codes. Good list of stores though.

This application does not work, it lets you register and load your details and when you want to come back in it say ... use does not exist ... then you try and register and it tells you that the user already exists ... make up you mind !!

Problem with the image capture. It keeps cropping the card and doesn't focus properly. Would also like to be able to browse for the card image. If you fix these bugs 9/10 from me.

The idea of keeping all your loyalty cards on your phone is a great idea. However taking a photo of the cards is not executed well. You can't autofocus and when the image is stored and the barcode / card number is stored at such a bad quality its not readable. The app should automatically generate barcodes based on a card number you input. That way the camera is not needed. Additionally, this app does not follow Android design guidelines (aka using Holo themes etc). This app has the ability of being something good, but currently it misses the mark.

Slow, crashes a lot, camera pics are unclear most of the time. Needs to be much much better and stable before this becomes useful. Idea is good though if it can be used as easily as the physical cars
