Was working fine but recent updates seem to have made it crash a lot on my s7 edge. Mirrorlink no longer works

No longer works on Samsung galaxy s7 edge running Android 7.0. Just a black screen.

Doesn't work. Simple as that.

I have a pioneer sph-da120 and a galaxy s7. This app does allow full mirrorlink between the phone and the head unit ( full screen mirroring of phone to the pioneer radio ) I don't use any other mirrorlink compatible apps just open mirrorlink press the rockscout app then press the back button on the top of the radio screen and I have my phone screen on my radio. I can then use anything I like. Google maps Google play music even watch videos on YouTube on my radio. I think people need to read and understand what mirrorlink is and how to use it. Yes it isn't perfect and as seamless to set up as Apple car play but it does allow you to use any app you have on your phone via your radio. Hope this review helps people to get this app to work for them. Rockscout is the door to mirror your phone on your radio. In my experience with this you just need to find how you open it and wham full screen mirroring on your radio

Spotify doesn't work properly anymore, no info on screen. Half the time it doesn't show all the compatible apps that you have downloaded on your phone. Podcast Addict hardly ever shows up.

Was working fine (could do with more apps) but recently Spotify has stopped working with the system. One of my main reasons for having the app now doesn't work. Not Good!

It does work with s8 and pioneer sphda120, full mirroring of phone is able through usb, it's a unstable and often crashes, dash command just crashes out which I wish would work, also phone can go a bit crazy on pulling the lead out, and music keeps playing through phone when disconnected too which is annoying to me.

App crashes and is buggy when in use with a Peugeot. Sometimes displays the correct screen, sometimes not. Needs to have a serious revision.

The screen stays blank so can't see what's playing nor change track with Spotify

Spotify in Rockscout won't display songs. I thought my s7 has issue when I see similar issues on the feedback I knew it was Rockscout app.

What was already a terrible app has now got worst as it no longer allows me to change songs

this app don´t wor properly whit spotify since last update, have you considered fixing that bug?

Doesn't work anymore and they can't seem to fix it!! Horrible company that can't make one app work right. I will never recommend this app.

In mirror play on 2017 Citroen C4 Picasso Spotify displays no info when playing, making it impossible to skip tracks. Needs fixing

It doesn't show what song is playing and skips over songs when changing songs while using spotify

Works fine with Vanilla Music, in addition to play music by artist, album, songs, and genre, hope to add the option to play music by folder.

Have subaru 2016 Legacy premium & Samsung S5 phone. Connected phone to car via usb cable. Only app on my phone that was compatible was Slacker radio. Pro: it worked. Cons: not intuitive, phone screen is black when in use, Slacker stations had to be set up before connecting to car, limited selection flexibility when connected, uses data. This might work better with apps other than Slacker. Since it uses my phone data, it would have to hit several home runs to be worth the effort. I really dislike having the phone screen go black when it mirrors to the car.

MirrorLink has to be the biggest joke for modern technology available in automobiles. The idea is fantastic but the deliverables are sub par to say the least. No support through Linux Kernel, No support through App Store, No Support through device, No support... Shite!

After the recent update Bluetooth doesn't pick up voice commands. OK Google is registered but nothing after that.

Worked fine just before this latest (v1.33) update, now is not recognized as MirrorLink application anymore (Citroen C5 Tourer). Fix it please!

It doesn't make sense you have to download multiple applications for no reason not compatible with my G37 2013

Since upgrading to Nougat, the car no longer recognises this app.

App just loads up a black screen on HTC M8 :(

Get this message despite mobile data being on and clearly having a connection. Have samsung s7 and 2016 subaru forrester. Works when i have a wifi connection when parked in the driveway...very helpful (sarcasm!)

LG G4, app starts but immediately after it goes black screen.

Easy mirrorlink app without any extra cables other than the USB cable. Can control and access my S7 from my pioneer. Awesomeness.

Tried with my s7 edge. Just shows trying to connect screen. Never does anything else

Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. When it does work it is generally good.
