Notif Pro for Android
I use this app everyday to keep track of things. Your doing it right. Found out about this from /r/galaxynexus
Now crashes when I try to select a picture. Not updated since 2013.
The most important feature, i.e. keeping notes, is unreliable. They mysteriously turn up missing most of the time.
Great app just a few issues for me. When I set a timed reminder It never shows up and restarting the phone wipes all stored notifications.
The app doesn't save notifications or reminders if your phone dies (or in my case, when I switch batteries). So basically the reminders are useless because they disappear.
The app deletes all notes upon restating or turning off my phone. The notes are still there in the history folder but the app shouldn't delete the notes unless the user tells it to. Other turn that rid was exactly what i was looking for.
Have followed this app and its developer since Notif's inception. It's a cleverly conceived, well executed concept that continues to evolve and improve. Will be looking for a lot of exciting work from this developer in the future.
Therefore can't be trusted with anything important (so why did I install it again)?
I can't make any notifications! With the free version, I can make notifications, I wanted to be able to edit them so I decided to buy the pro version, but now I can't even make any. Samsung Galaxy Note II, Miui V5
The grocery list I've tried had no notifications and I would forget to check the app. So the list would be useless. With Notif, I can add my lists to my notifications, which I check all day. Notif is easy to use with a little practice. I would have given it 5 stars except for a problem that I keep running into. As I swipe up and down on my list, my thumb can swipe at a bad angle and remove an item by accident. It would be nice to have a checklist option. Or simply cross the item out and move it to the end.
Don't waste your money. App has potential but feels really unfinished and is too unreliable to be used. Still taking money but offers no service!!!
Great app. No idea why developer stopped updating it. Don't regret my purchase cause it is perfect as is. Just a shame.
Restore on reboot gone with last update. Essential feature for me.
Can you fix this pls asap. Selecting picture from Gallery, crashes [stops] instantly.
Using nexus 5 on 5.0.1 edit still crashes
Great handy app but have problems where my notification note disappearing sometimes.
Right now when I try and use reminder function, it simply doesn't work. I realised that after you set the reminder, the green bar that comes up showing that you set a reminder is always the same (wrong) date, I think it said 3/12/2015 or something. Please fix
Notifications will not stay anymore. I'm giving this a 4 because it used to work well, now I make a notification, and in a matter of minutes itll just be gone out of no where. I usually don't notice right away that's the problem. What happened?
I love how minimalist this app is, it's simple to use and it's in a place you can't overlook. I use this mainly for my daily tasks/to-do's.
I have had this app for a while and even paid for it. Unfortunately I recently realized that there's a major flaw in this app: the notifications is creates don't survive past a reboot. So if you create a few reminders, then your phone starts acting up and you reboot, they're gone. The author is also absent and this app has pretty much been abandoned. He's a flaky college student who, per his own words "has better things to do". So I'd recommend you stay away, and if you do install it, DON"T PAY FOR IT. You will get no support and no updates.
Does exactly what it says it does, but my notifications do not reappear on restart.
More than one year without updates? What's up fellas?
Besides the loss of notifications on reboot, an existing one disappears every time a new one is created! And, this app hasn't been updated in 15 months! How about taking an interest, Eric?
Great handy app but have problems where my notification note disappearing sometimes.
Too bad. Good app but appears abandoned with some major issues. First is notifications are not persistent across reboots. Second is crashes with notes containing pictures and also when selecting a past notification in the history list. I wish I played around more right away and got a refund.
App is cool, but keeps crashing on me when I try and pin a pic. Please fix
This app has solved so many of my problems, but it has one minor issue - when trying to add a photo, the Gallery picker will come up, but upon selection, Notif will force close. (For dev info: LG G3, stock ROM, Android 4.4.2)
Every time I come back to try this app there's another thing wrong with it that makes me uninstall it again. First time it was the fact it crashed every time I tried to use pictures in a notification. Now that works, but now whenever I try to make an ongoing notification it gets stuck there. I literally had to uninstall the program to make it go away. I'd love to use this thing, but it just has too many consistent issues for me to want to keep it..
Really well written app. But support is zero. App development seems dead.
Currently if I create a list (not ongoing) and then create a normal text motivation it'll remove the list one. Also crashes when selecting pictures.
Great app but there's been an error lately where I set the reminder and it just never goes off. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.
I wish I could get rid of the "Share" button on notifications.
This is a really great app. I've used a similar app, but Notif has more features and overall a better design. Edit: notes keep disappearing, not even just on a reboot but at any given time. Going to have to stop using since it doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
Works as advertised when Gmail is on board. Would like it to show reminders after restart.
That would allow for multiple devices to update a to do list? Otherwise wonderful app.
an easy way to link a persistent item to an app.
Would be cool if users could choose between text, picture or most for the quick-notif popup.
Great app to keep my organized.
Everytime i think about switching to back iOS i remember that Notif is so useful to me on a day to day that i couldn't possibly switch. It takes full advantage of how powerful the notification shade is on android. I use it as a quick reminder notes or simply a to do list. seeing it in my notifications forces me to do something with that listed item. I either just take care an entry or i decided to schedule it on my calendar. Thanks very much for the developer for the recent great updates. also it looks very
