About Email Me Pro

Great for Getting Things Done! (GTD, tasks, to do) Also a Tasker and Locale plugin.

** Please note that this app is no longer supported. You may still install it, but no enhancements will be made and no bugs will be fixed. **

You can set up multiple email templates (which include the email recipients, subject, message, and even attachments) for tasks, work, personal, etc. Then use those templates to quickly create a pre-populated email or to share something from another app using the Share menu. You can also create shortcuts on your home screen using a template.

You can also set up Email Me Pro to send you emails automatically, so you bypass the email compose screen completely! No more extra steps to send an email! The SMTP settings are configurable, enabling you to send from any single email account.

Email Me Pro allows you to quickly email files (including photos) from your phone, either automatically or using your email app's compose screen.

Using Email Me Pro's Auto Send feature, you can schedule emails to be sent at regular intervals, such as every day or every week.

Email Me Pro is also a Tasker and Locale plugin, so you can send emails automatically (to anyone) using the numerous triggers in Tasker and Locale. Please note that Tasker and Locale are separate apps that must be installed and this only works using Auto Send in Email Me Pro. Both are great apps and I highly recommend checking them out.

Check out Email Me if you want a free version of this app (with less functionality).

Please note that you have the option to turn SSL on or off and trust all certificates in the preferences. However, it's recommended to always keep SSL on and not trust all certificates (which are the defaults). Unfortunately though, this doesn't work with all email providers.

The recent Android version made the app work agai! I really love this app and it was the first one to install. I still use it even though support has stopped. If the developer reads this can he/she care to comment on any future plans please? Or the reason why its no longer developed if technical? I loved the tasker support and sending an image with a few clicks and will miss it of it stops working. The website and the email is dead so this is why I ask. Thanks.

Identical config to my old phone, but Tasker integration isn't working properly. Seems to maybe have stopped working with Android 5. Some emails are not getting sent with GMail. Developer has abandoned it. But he still doesn't mind if you want to give him money for it.

app has problems !! the email is sent multiple times at random periods and the developer won't fix this issue

Used to be a great app but the dev has abandoned it. Don't waste your money.

V4.02 has lots of bugs so use v4.01, it works perfectly.

Don't buy it they state right in description no longs supporting or other wise the mail from in app now fails.

K70%

Having many issues with it. Can't get support. I'm guessing enough suckers purchased it to make him a millionaire so now there is no need to support it or fix issues.

When you take a backup, it would be very helpful to TELL us WHERE the app saves it. You know, so we can actually make us of it.

App helped find a lost phone and saved a lost dog, so that's two major wins already. Please add custom mail headers for maximum profit! Consider also supporting some of the GPG clones for Android for extra security.

Email automatically from the share menu or tasker, love it!!!

R70%

Nice idea for tasker, but it never authenticates my smtp settings mo matter which of my email addresses I use. All details are correct and checked, no two step auth on any, but still fails to authenticate, rendering it useless.

Z70%

The template portion of this app works - hence the 2 star review. However, I bought this to use the autosend feature with tasker, and it will not auto send from Gmail.

Incredibly useful! Well designed. Easy to use.

to email photos automatically. Worked great once found out what my phone said and where the photo actually was were different. If you want to send photo make sure in Configuration you keep the check in box for 'Is Multipart'. Also if get error sending email while testing, make sure you didn't have Tasker or yourself shut off your Wifi and Mobile Data. I keep wonder why got Error: Null and that was why. Turn one of them on. Oh, setting up SMTP with Gmail was a snap! Moto X 2nd Gen.

Need to have MULTIPLE smpt server configuration which should be able to select during task creation itself.

Double and triple checked SMTP and login settings. Auto send didn't work using either TLS or SSL specific ports. Worked in the end, by adding 2-step veri and an app specific password.

Motorola RAZR MAXX HD. Set it up in seconds and got the test email immediately. Set up a task in Tasker with a 5 second wait, locked the phone and received the email. Prior to purchase received a response to a question to Caramel labs in a short time. Rating this a 5.

One apps that will make your life so much much easier. Go for the Pro... you will not regret. Now you can send emails to your loved ones with 1 touch. Edit: Also works OK with newer phones... Android 4.2. MiUI. Also Lenovo... Compared it to Selfmail and Mailmyself, this app still wins.

Using this with Tasker for auto sending photos when my tablet is used while I am away. For those with Gmail auto send issues make sure your email password in Email Me Pro is an application specific password setup in your Google Account.

I actually give it 4.5. One thing I'd like to see added is to be able to send to a group from the phones contacts or to be able to create groups in this app. BB is very important for privacy when sending to me than one person at a time. ThankYou

It suddenly stopped working. I get a message saying my email isn't configured right, though it is.

It's great! I use it with Tasker to email any text messages I get to my work email. Now that it retrys emails its perfect.

Is ok

S70%

But I would love for there to be a way to click on the icon and have it open directly to the email message, rather than having to click on the template. I only want one template.

S70%
by S####:

To the guy that said it doesn't work with Tasker, you need to set up your default email in the automation section of the app. I had the same problem, but it works now. Support is a bit slow, but just read the help section of the app, this should get you up and running.

Keeps saying error: null when trying to create a template with an attachment. Why is this do?
