Tried using CarLink with my Galaxy S5 & my 2014 Honda Civic EX, to no avail. Says CAS doesn't support 2 way mirror display.. Was truly hoping this would work... CarLink developers, need to fix the app to work with all Android devices.

For the people who complain it doesn't work with their Samsung/other phone, that's because they do not support it. Search "phones that support mirrorlink" in Google. You will see 99% of the phones supported are all HTC phones! It's not the app it's the brand phone you bought that doesn't have the capability. Look at your FACTORY charging cord, the small micro USB side. (the end that goes in your phone) See the 4 copper terminals? You need 5 to be able to support this, that's why this isn't working for you.

The cars you are using are hondas and I don't think hondas are compatable.

Don't waste your time downloading this app if you're trying to use it on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and a 2014 Civic Si. It doesn't work. The car's 7" display says "Smartphone Not Supported." They really need to list what cars and phones this DOES work for because it doesn't seem to work for anyone right now.

Did not work on my Android Moto G with Honda City. Simply says Your phone does not support mirroring.

Will not work on Galaxy S 6 Plus

I have note 5. Whenever I turn on carling, it says this device doesn't support mirror link! When I search for migraine on my device, I find it and it on.

Does this work for anyone????? Will NOT work on Galaxy S4 & 2015 Honda Civic.

Does not work on samsung galaxy smart camera

Now if you're reading this and your phone is a fairly modern Android phone you and certain devices don't need this. There is a service already in your phone called MirrorLink which already does this and this app will NOT help you. Check their website for a full list of devices with it but, all most top end samsung phones have this installed from at least galaxy note 2.
