Working in partnership with Barking and Dagenham College, Capita Business Services have produced a simple step by step course funding calculator that applies the rules for each of the main funding streams to provide a ready reckoner of expected funding.

You Can
• Undertake calculations for 16 to 18, Adult Skills and Apprenticeship funding models
• Choose your Provider and therefore base calculations on known provider values
• Enter estimated student starts in age categories and apply retention and achievement rates
• Choose Guided Learning Hours, Credits or Apprenticeship framework on which to base the funding rate
• Choose a knowledge component and functional skills components
• Choose delivery location and recruitment catchment postcode areas to estimate area and disadvantage uplifts
• Share the resulting calculation with colleagues or employers via your device for example email, sms, dropbox etc
