Out of Milk - Grocery Shopping List

Good stuff man

I use this all the time. It's a great app. I just find some of the interfacing a bit weird. The setup of the menus is sort of odd, esp editing catagories in different places. I also wish I could tag ine item with more than one category. I never use anything but the shopping list part and have found myself using it for more than just groceries but order of errands with the option to sort by drag-and-drop. Thank you out of milk devs!

Easy to use and if you dig a little deeper there are lots of features. Love the ability to sync between devices and users! Especially useful for the pantry lists. This way I can keep track of what's in the pantry and deep freeze. I also bought the unlocker to get the widget. My only complaint is that I can't find a way to delete duplicate items.

Very user friendly. Helps you make lists for multiple stores and items. The only thing I would change would be adding a local retail price comparison tool on items in your list. Also, a built in barcode scanner, to link to Google Goggles or other Google apps to assist with finding more info on a particular item (ie; user reviews, price comparison, total cost with state sales tax, share item to social media, online retailers price..etc.)

This is really helpful. I can send lists:To do list, groceries list..to anyone who coming this direction. The PANTRY can hold items that I probably would forget if I didn't see it on History. Just click items and they are put on current list.So far it has worked great! I like it!

With a toddler and a new baby, this app is a lifeline. I don't have to worry about mom-brain making me leave my shopping list at home, and even better, my husband has access to a self updating list when he does the shopping. No more texting "don't forget the bananas!" He just has the same list available for him to update at his whim!

Works really well for me. Just have to rememmber if you don't live in the USA don't ask for local specials. Also can't scan non-USA barcodes but that's only an issue when you first set up your list. Only extra thing I would like is for it to automatically put your shopping onto the correct 'cupboard' as you cross it off the shopping list.

It is an excellent app and I tell everyone about it! It's so easy to use and I love it because I can continually update my shopping list days prior to my actual shopping. I no longer get home only to realize I've forgotten key items. Also, categorizing the items make them so easy to find. Thank you so much for working so hard that I hardly have to work at all!!!

This ap is a life saver. My husband will text me im going to the store right now and all i have to do is add what i need to it and he can see it while he is there. It will remember what we bought before, old preferences. When an item is added to a cart it doesnt disapear off the list, but moves it down with a line through it so you can see that yes it was on the list and you already got it. I love this app. I add items all week to it, so if you have an impromptu trip to costco you know that 1 item you can only get at costco is on there. Love it!!! I recommend it all the time

Why doesn't it work with Alexa in Canada?? I love the ease of this app. it does so much. Wish my smart devices had access to Out of Milk. I would like to use this app with voice control over my Amazon Echo. That would deserve a 7 out of 5 rating!

I love this app! I wander through my kitchen entering all the food I need to restock. When I'm lazy, it works with Alexa so she does all the work. I have lists for grocery, Costco, work, office supplies, etc. I have shared the grocery list with my son so on his way home from work, he can easily stop and pick a few things we need.

No Android Wear support kills it for me. I'm carrying groceries or pushing a cart. I don't want to be fumbling with a phone too. Edit: No, I will not edit my review as it contains an honest opinion. I've switched to a rival app after being an Out of Milk user who almost never used the app because you refused to listen to users and make a Wear companion app. Want the review changed? Make the companion app.

Overall, the app is a great idea and by far one of my favorites. Only thing I notice off the bat that could be fixed is some of my items, when scanned via the barcode option, ring up as threatening Christian sayings or quotes from the bible. Unsure if this app's host was hacked at one point or something, but that kind of sets off a red flag for me.

Excellent for keeping track of everything. I have several "to do" lists that are immensely helpful with my recent move to a new state. One thing I wish you could do is move items from one list to another instead of checking them off.

This app is wonderful for someone like me! I can add items throughout my week, or my children can add things too. I LOVE how you can prioritize the departments to the store you are shopping in. It makes the trip faster and smoother. Thank you Out of Milk!

Why can't I see my created shopping list and Pantry list when I am logged out? It synced my shopping and pantry list to the online "cloud" and when I logged out of the app it removed these lists from my phone. I can't see my list unless I'm logged in and I don't want to stay logged in constantly.

I love this app so much. It's interface is user friendly and so easily customizable. I only took off one star because I always have difficulty with the app syncing devices, which makes it hard for my husband and I to both add to the same list from our separate phones

This was once one of my favorite and most useful apps. I loved how it kept track of the value of what was in the cart and what was still on the list. I was able to scan barcodes to add items to the list. With neither of those being part of the current version, Out of Milk is about as good as a paper shopping list.

I have been using this app for over a year. It was great then and it has improved leaps and bounds. The only thing I can think of that it doesn't have I would love to see is to create a shopping list from a picture of a recipe. I put all of my cheesecake recipes in manually, tedious but still worth it. I recommend it to all of my friends and family.

I love this app. Remember something while making lunch? Add it to the list. Use the last of the detergent? Scan the bar code, and, boom, it shows up on both our phones. Totally awesome and useful! RR, Collegeville Pa

Love that it categorizes your groceries for you! Also when you've crossed out something you've completed on a to do list, it moves it to a "done" section for you to see all your accomplishments! Love this app so much because it's thoughtfully laid out and free :)

Love the app. Have used for over a year, but lately it seems to have gotten very slow. Slow to open, and very slow to sync - no longer seems to sync in background at all. Pls fix and I'll go back to 4 stars! Issues occur on my S3 and Nexus 7.

I really love this app. Yesterday I had to have my phone reset back to factory settings BEFORE I went to the grocery store, I was lost. I did not have my grocery list from "Out Of Milk". Everything was wiped from my phone. I am so used to my list being there that I was just lost without it. Thank you for this App. I am glad that when I got home I was able to re-download it, and all is well now..LOL., I do highly recommend this.

It's great for saving my list and letting me check off items as I go through the store. My only complaint is that any time you change the orientation of the phone it goes back to the top of the list. This happens a lot when pushing a doing carry thru a store.

I love this app! It helps me when money is tight to stay on budget. One complaint: when items are in my cart and I try to move them to my pantry list, the items show in my pantry, but are not removed from my cart. One suggestion: I wish that when I move/copy items to my pantry list it would not duplicate, causing me to go back later and delete duplicates.

I am only the secondary shopper in the home but over the years I've managed to make it part of my essential systems to note what the family needs , not wants. Technogy that don't dominate my life but adds value where its needed. Excellent.

Excellent app. Have been using it for years. There is one very annoying thing though, which is seeing duplicated items in a shopping list. This happens when a checked item in the pantry is added to the shopping list. If this is done multiple times, then the same item would be in the same shopping list multiple times . I hope this gets fixed. Additionally, the bar code scanner does not work with shopping list.

Update! I love this app again. Previously: Would buy again! Now: I am patiently waiting for the update. I despise everything that has been done, and wish I could download the old app again. Please fix SOON!!!! I will not recommend to anyone until the fix is released. (Been a user for years, and even bought the pro version we loved it so much.) UPDATE: The latest update fixed many of the problems. I want to use for awhile before I reapply the 5 stars. :-)

It was a good thought, but does not scan even half of what I have in my pantry. I scanned soy sauce & it came up as an electronic boat. I scanned salsa & it came up as butterfly wall decals. Not accurate & too much work. I'll stick to pen & paper.

This application organizes and simplifies the task of grocery shopping. It even reminds me of where are the items and it keeps track of price fluctuations. With this application I know exactly what is in my pantry and what I need to buy. I definitely recommend it. This is the best grocery shopping app out there.

Great app. I have problems with my phone, so to be able to keep my shopping list where ever and when ever I need it is just great. Also to be able to update online as well, great. Excellent program. So easy to use and to be able to share shopping lists and to do lists, great. Love it apart from its bar code lack of a data base!

Can't recommend it higher. I've used it long term on several devices including: Samsung Galaxy Note 3, 5, S4 and currently the S7 Edge.

Can put anything on the list. Today - dr appt so I put down meds I need refills for and spots I want checked. Normally used when we're getting low on things. Easy, easy to use!

I have used this for a few years now. I'm disappointed that they took away the feature of, when checking off items on your list it used to move down to the bottom and automatically clear your active list. I've tried to find a way to change it back to be able to do this again but it won't. Now you have to delete the item.

I really like this app it does all that you would want to do with a grocery list. The only drawback for it is that when the phone rotates you lose all your checked items.

I've been using this app for years and still loving it. I can search for specials in my favorite stores, email the list to my husband, scan the Barcode as I run out of things, or use it for inventory of my fridge or pantry (if I run out of better things to do). I highly recommend this app, especially to seniors...

Great app. Husband and I heavily rely on this app to synch grocery lists. I have also started using it for to-do lists like Thanksgiving menu and party preparations. The app has some problems - synching, unintentional rearrangement of items. There are things I think can be added - ability to enlarge font for shopping, larger category separation area, aisle selection by store. But all in all, it is an indispensable app for us.

Great app, been using it for years to take note of needed groceries. Wouln't pick anything over it ❤Would be nice to have local grocery deals available in UK too.

I hate wasting paper and I can keep track of my sending if I put the amt of the groceries I usually buy. In haven't used it to its full potential but I love this app.

Extremely easy for the whole family! We share a family list. When something runs out we add it to the list, that way whoever goes to the store can grab what we need & Mark it off. ????
