About Bigcommerce Admin App
BigCommerce Admin Mobile App is an easy tool to manage your BigCommerce Site’s Store Orders from your Android mobile. It will give you almost every control on the Orders and that to, without any installation required between your Store Site and your Mobile.(Need to create API Key from your admin.)
However, you will be required to enable the API and note the API Token for the user to use it for Authentication purpose.
Steps to create a new STORE USER and API Token from your Bigcommerce Store Admin Panel :
1) Click on Advance Settings in menu bar.
2) Select ‘Legacy API Settings’.
3) Click on Create a Legacy API Account button in Legacy API Accounts page.
4) Enter your Username, API Path and API Token is already given so click on Save button.
Enter your Store URL, Username, and API token in the Mobile App for authentication.The Store URL you enter will depend on whether you have an SSL certificate, as follows: https://www.example.com if you DO have an SSL certificate, or https://store-b37pq.mybigcommerce.com if you do not.
This app is a secured tool, as all the information transferred between the Store and this App is done via the use of Big Commerce’s standard API. All the data transferred is in JSON form. You can always control access to the data of your store by revoking the permissions of a user to use API, by disabling it, or control certain permissions for that user in the setting section of your Store.
Actions that you would be able to perform on the Orders are as followed:
• Change the Status of an Order.
• Create shipment of an Order. (Multiple shipments possible.)
• You can view the last created shipment with details like number of items shipped and
address details.
• Retrieve Order list in order (20 Orders per page).
• Refresh button updates the Order list instantly.
• Get New Order Notifications.
• You can contact customer by just clicking the contact number or email id in billing and shipping details.
• You can view customer comments for a given order.
• Now Order dates are displayed as per your mobile timezone. (Newly Added)
An Order’s Preview would provide every detail about that Order like:
• The Ordered Items and the quantity.
• Billing Details.
• Shipping Details.
• Orders totals like Sub Total, Shipping Cost, Grand Total.
You can view Orders by the following Status types:-
• All Orders.(Excluding deleted Orders)
• Incomplete.
• Pending.
• Shipped.
• Partially Shipped
• Refunded.
• Cancelled.
• Declined.
• Awaiting Payment.
• Awaiting Pickup.
• Awaiting Shipment.
• Completed.
• Awaiting Fulfillment.
• Manual Verification Required.
You can search for specific Orders using the following Order Information :-
• By Order ID
• By First Name Of Customer
• By Last Name Of Customer
• By Email Id Of Customer
• By Min and Max Date Range
Other Features includes:
• Notification System. You will get a notification whenever a new Order is placed in the Store. The time for notification interval can be set from the setting section.
• A very easy listing of Orders containing important details like placement date, total payable amount, name of the customer, status of the Order, and more.
• A very light, easy to use User Interface.

Great for order management, but when can we expect to be able to add products and pictures and edit stores via mobile? It would be real great help to free us from the desktop. Very pleased with Big Commerce. Thanks for your consideration.

Would love to see product custom fields visible when viewing the orders. Most of my business is customized options, making this app useless for someone like me. Also, order notifications would be great.

One of the main reasons this app is great for me is because I take it to the warehouse and use it to package up my orders. I had the old BC app and finally caved yesterday and bought this one. Once I was in I noticed that this app didn't list the SKUs for the items in the order (so many titles are similar or there are a bunch of different colors/models of a particular item) so I emailed support and said i have no use w/o those-They emailed last night and added them in a new version-excellent support!

Login issues fixed , thanks guys. I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars but the app needs some more work. Order comments are pretty important , I cant see them on the app so i have to keep using my pc to view comments. I never use the delete button ever and its so big. But i do use the change status button all the time. I have almost deleted several orders by accident so make that button smaller. Also utilise the empty space under that huge delete button amd make the status selections instantly clickable.

The old big commerce app was amazing. AND IT WAS FREE. Now they are charging $10 and took away many features from the old app. Very disappointed. Why did you take away amazing features that the old app had? Are you planning to update this app soon???

Didnt have an issue fetching orders. I was up and running in 2 minutes but the program crashed 2 times in 10 minutes of use and had to issue a new api each time. I want my old free app back. Considering the amount of money we pay monthly for bigcommerce we shouldnt be paying extra for apps. Edit 1 I tried getting a a refund but it kept telling me to try later and then it timed out. It started working a few hours later and now today its back to telling me i have the wrong details for login.

2nd time ive paid for this app. 1st time uninstalled as it didn't work. Layout is good and easy to navigate. Rarely receive notifications on sales and notification is silent. For $10 its no where close to what it should be.

I'd like to be able to email a customer from the app, but there's no link to do that. I can't even select the text of their email address from the billing or shipping pages. Do I have to write down their email address so I get it right? Seems a little backwards.

This app is quite good, very slick, and does everything I need it to. You need to carefully read, and follow the setup instructions; not because it's difficult (it's not), just gotta follow instructions. You can do everything with an order here that you can from a desktop, there's nothing more to say. Very nice!

When I login to my cart, this app will not take me past the first page - instead I just receive an error message that it is unable to fetch orders. Very frustrating.

This app does nothing you cant see from bigcommerce mobile website. The apple app is much better. You cant see daily tracking, orders, and sales. Hugely dissapointed for the high cost. Not recommended.

I bought the app and for one reason or another it didn't work. Contacted the company and my problem was resolved within 24 hours. To top it up I didn't like the display so they sent me a custom app with the way I like to see my orders. No the app is perfect and does everything I need. We recently open an online store with Big Commerce which let me tell you has been going great! Better then we expected! Recently I've been going back an forth using my phone when I'm away from a computer which really became a hassle having to open the browser and log into the website every time an order came in! But now with this app it notifies me when an order comes through and just opening the app and seeall the information there is just awesome! Really am Satisfied!!
