iMissal - #1 Catholic App

I bought this because I wanted to follow the entire Mass including readings in Latin I thought it would allow me to switch back & forth-use Latin sometimes English others It asked me what language at start I clicked English That's. All I can get VERY disappointed

Stopped working today after working fine since I first purchased app. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice. No help. Samsung Galaxy S7, Google search showed no hits on others with similar problems. Still works on wife's iPhone SE. Will change rating if app gets fixed.

This is very much helpful for those who want to grow more in knowing the Lord through the Scriptures. Very convenient, very easy to navigate and it even comes with an audio for every reading. Please help check though for today's readings. The First Reading, Psalm and Gospel as reflected for today: July 22, 2017 does not match with what I hear over the audio. Thank you.

Great app. Use it everyday. Read some of the reviews and seems like a lot of " fine hair splitting". So far this is the best app around for basic daily readings and Saint a Day. Glad to embrace it.

It's decent, but why in the world would a Catholic app have the NIV and KJV versions of the Bible readings? Why not the Douay and Vulgate instead?

I really love this application, I can read the gospel every time i want and so listen the responsorial psalm well. but why the video is gone?

This not a Roman Rite Missal of 1957 or 1962 but a Novus Order fraud . Should of stated it is Vatican II Missal of the new order .

4/22 - Very happy to finally access Saint-A-Day again tho I do not like the new layout. I prefer the more accessible old version which I still have on my tablet. I like having the list available to choose as soon as the app opens rather than the calendar. Plus the new version takes much longer to load. Perhaps an option could be added in the settings for users to select which way they would prefer the app to load, calendar first as in the new or the pretty list as in the old. iMissal has been the 1st thing I reach for upon awakening for almost 4yrs now. Ty.

I used to love this app, but since the changes in the interface, different calendar, ugly colors, no more long hold... It doesn't fit my display right and the bottom with navigation icons and name of day/observance is cut off. Now​ its not opening readings. This app was perfect, why change​ it? Please fix it.

I updated my app.. im using it since 2013 and i love it. But when i updated it i cant open it.. pls. Check the bug on the newly update immisl thanks

Was this app hacked or what? Just could not believe why abandon the old nice UI for this most ugliest UI? Below is my earlier comment which is not applicable anymore... Good one! I am particularly interested in daily readings to follow the mind of the church. It seems there are other apps that are free that do this.

Doesn't provide the Entrance Antiphon, Collect, Prayer over the Offering, Preface proper to the day, Communion Antiphon or Prayer After Communion for any Mass on any day, so it's not a "complete Missal," just the Liturgy of the Word. Eucharistic Prayers omit of reference to St. Joseph in violation of the 2013 Papal decree Paternas vices. Is this even licit?

I travel a lot and have been using this app in many foreign countries over the last three years. It's a joy to use; and now, with the latest addition of entrance and communion antiphons, it's finally a complete, standalone digital missal. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend to all Catholics who are daily church goers. You can actively participate in all Masses that you are in because it follows the Roman Missal.

How come I have to pay for the Saint of the day, Again? Why?

Really wonderful app. Ability to change font size is SO helpful for old eyes like mine!

The older version is better than the new. Please if you can return saint a day.

How do you look up the Saint Of The Day, or search for other saints?

It would be best if you will include a Holy Bible for additional reference for us

I take my iPod or nook to Sunday Mass and it is so easy to follow the whole Mass sevice, or just the readings. Also the Daily Bread is an uplifting passage to start each day. I also like the prayers for different occassions. The only negative is when I try to share a passage to fb, it just sends a link to the app but passage is not sent.

Don't like the new interface, it's more difficult to read. If you could choose the font color it would be better. "Sepia Dark" seems to be the closest to the original theme but the font color is not dark enough to get the same contrast and readability. Using the "back" button now exits the app instead of going back to the home screen menu. This is really annoying.

My favorite app, the only one I use every day. Recent update has caused me to lose my purchase of St. of the day in app purchase I made. Know it's wanting me to buy again. Will go back to face starts when it's fixed.

27/10/16 - what's with the update? Horrible UI please return to how it was. Where has my Saints of the day gone? We read about the saints every morning with our children. Even the new icon is ugly. Has a very childish feel to it now.

Update, what happened? I had to replace my phone (I had a Note 7 with no problems at all) and when I installed it on my Galaxy S7 edge the app is different. I lost the easy to use buttons and now have to access the top left menu to go to Prayers, My Daily Bread. Is there a way to get my older version back that I like? I use this app daily to listen to the mass readings and say my prayers. It is worth much more that what I paid.

This brings the daily Mass and so much more to where I am every day. It is a great help, as no matter what storm life can provide I can keep the Lord's word closer.

The Saint a Day addin has disappeared after updating to the newest version

Please bring back the old ui, the new one is horrible. Don't ruin a perfectly good app!!!

Not liking the new icon, colors, layouy, etc. Why was it changed?

It might be nice to be able to add our own prayers in the prayers section... I have a few short ones I pray, and would like to have a one-stop place to keep my favs.

Awesum app for Catholics.Need to update the mass with the new words as in New Zealand we using it.

This is my go to missal. I wish there were more prayer for saints like Padre Pio, St. Gerard de Magella, and other famous saints.

What happened to the Old Version? My two phones updated the imissal butvwith a different format. Do I have to purchase againbfor my other phones?

My church in CA USA has entrance & communion prayers that iMissel does not include. I use this free app regularly. Pay extra for Saint of Day.

Why do you want to change?

Used it for years. I love being able to keep up with the readings for Mass ... in an adjustable font size that I can easily read in church.
