CAN 2017 TV

The Omar Bongo stadium in Libreville was to be chosen to host the opening match and the final but due to a delay in construction, the stadium could not be delivered on time. Therefore, on October 13, 2016, the CAN Organizing Committee decided to disqualify this stadium. It will be replaced by the Stade de l'Amitié (Stade d'Angondjé), which already hosted matches of the CAN 2012.
