CamSam - Speed Camera Alerts

This is an awesome app. It tells all the new camera locations

It alerts you to all the hidden cameras for red lights and speeding cameras. If your area light is not in the system, you can add it and help build the apps reliability even more. Has helped me a few times already in the short couple weeks I've had it installed.

Took this app out on a test run, there is a fixed camera near me, the app knows this as it's showing it on it's map data. Yet when I drove past this camera, the app remained silent, the app had GPS locked, one of the few times it did. This brings me on to the second problem, the app always says searching for GPS, I'd say 95% of the time. This makes this app unusable.

I have been using this a while. Nice and simple. I use this and Waze together, this for fixed cameras and Waze for radar and moveable cameras. Sometimes it has fixed cameras on the wrong side of the road and it has no radar and moveable cameras. (At least in Brazil). I use it all the time.

Showing only radars what others reported. If stationary radar is removed app still shows like it's there. App can't recognize unannounced portable or new not reported radars. Whole bunch of much better apps are doing the same thing.

The best speed cam app, which can be used without connecting to Internet. I will give it 5 stars, if you can add full screen mode by hiding the status bar.

Totally accurate thus far, well judged warnings, easy to use, no glitches apparent, free - as good as some camera warning subscription services that cost £20/year.

The design is awful and old. The app is targeting KitKat and this is ridiculous in 2017

Love the option to change sound and separate volume control. Perfect for uber drivers. It is missing a lot of local speeds outside Sydney cbd though. Keep up the good work.

Using the app for couple of years (sporadically) and it was OK. Now out of the blue there is an update. Widget is gone. The addition of map is useless. Who will drive & look at the map? The voice is British, no option to change it. Most speed cameras aren't detected. That means nobody reports them and the fixed cameras that are out of commission for years are reported by the app. I will simply revert to the older version with widget. And if people won't chip in and report correctly I will uninstall this app

I have used this app for a year or so and it has detected almost every camera, the only downside to the new update I have found is the loss of the German voice. The difference in the voice set it aside from the satnav voices so you paid more attention. Please bring him back!
